<p>I’m going to assume mayyyyyybe they take up to ~3 people off the waitlist; probably all for the spring semester, with no aid

<p>I went to Brown in person last Monday from LA. I talked to the front desk lady and was told the transfer director was not available. sigh…</p>
<p>@wangtaozhang That may be an indirect succor. Perhaps the transfer director was not available because he/she is busy deciding which waitlisted transfer applicants should be offered admission.</p>
<p>I’m just hoping the waiting list will be used to some extent. And I think the fact that no has heard anything thus far is good news.</p>

It is a good news because apparently Brown is busy working it out. I am going to Hawaii tomorrow for a trip, just relax and wait.</p>
<p>I called last week, and I was finally able to make a CollegeConfidential account to tell you guys that the lady told me the decisions regarding the students on the Waiting List would be available via snail mail mid- to end of June…
I thought we were told that they would be available BY mid-June? Also, this is worrisome, as I’ve never received any physical letters from Brown… Can someone else call to confirm how long it will take for the Waiting List students to find out and if they’re even consulting the Waiting List at all?</p>
