<p>I’m not sure about that. What’s interesting is that U-Dub has more than 31,000 applicants this year the most ever I think. Last year they had 30,200 applicants with a 55% acceptance rate 5% shorter than 2012 the year before, however, 2012 had only 26,138 applicants; 4000 less than 2013 . Knowing this, the acceptance rate this year might be a little lower than 55%! U Washington is getting more and more popular! </p>

<p>@LongHornNation it’s my top choice! I got accepted to WWU, WSU, UW Bothell, Boise State, and Utah. I’m just waiting for UW and Florida State. Eventhough Florida State is harder to get into and ranked higher sometimes…UW is my home. It’s where my family went, it’s where my dad lived when he immigrated here, and it’s even where I was born! (UW medical center baby of 1996 FTW!!) </p>
<p>All of that along with the fact that their CS program is great and there are so many start-ups and big companies here, what better place for success? Plus, all of my college credit from running start (take community college classes at the CC for HS and College credit) transfer directly. So I will be a junior with just over 95 credits if I get it!</p>
