Official fall 2014 transfer thread

How do you know what your pin is ??

FYI, my transeval page is back to being without my name or major - however, my app-id listed on there is wrong (edit: even though I logged in with the correct one)… it’s missing one number at the end. This probably just proves how glitchy it really is.

@ansci412‌ I guess your decision is not yet post… I tried this first a few week ago and got exactly the same message as you. Did you apply to CAS?

I got April 22 as well, I am AEM. So yeah I am freaking out that its too late. However as things go decision should have been coming out this tuesday, so maybe they are a week late.

@MYOMOO No, CALS. But some CALS people are saying they also got a date. Not sure if the particular school as anything to do with it.

@injustice Looks like there will be a lot of decision on Aprill 22 10am… We will see!!

@ansci412 I think u did it in the wrong way. As soon as u go to the link, click on “FORGOT MY PASSWORD OR PIN”, and then type ur email. Then, an email with ur exact PIN NUMBER will be sent to you. Change your password, then try to log back in.

How come website url isn’t part of the cornell.edu?

By the way, I got the same error, "“We were unable to locate your PIN. Please try again, or contact Technical Support for further assistance.”

So all of you guys get the message on April 22 10am???

@CORNELLorDIE I did that & got the message that I posted before.

@ansci412 I guess you will hear from Cornell later… When did you submit your application?

@ansci412‌ I’m also missing the last number of my id on the credit eval page

I submitted my application on 1/28, very long time ago. It got sent for review on 3/21.

Same here. It says 10AM April 22. I am not even sure if this is accurate since everyone else is getting the same date.

@andypopins‌

It’s all just a big glitch… they really like playing mind games with us.

Guys, do you think it makes a difference when you submitted you application. I submitted the Common app portion on the very last night. Is it possible this is why it’s taking admissions so long or do you think I’m just too stupid to get into cornell.

I’m applying to Biological Sciences in CALS which has traditionally been one of the first majors to announce decisions.

@andypoints I calculated the last second when I can still submit (time difference) and I hit the submit button the last minute. I get April 22, so I think there is little correlation.

@wellletshope‌ It’s definitely possible, but then again, AEM tends to release their decisions a bit later than Biological Sciences. Furthermore, no one on the forum has been accepted to AEM yet, where as @reneesydaisy has already been accepted to Biological Sciences.

Why are there so many AEM :frowning: :frowning: competition!!
@william95 so are those stats meaning that so far there has been no decision for AEM applicants??

@Cyrano723 yeah no one from AEM has said they heard back yet
