i rescind my comment in exchange for silence

CORNELLorDIE – To be honest, I don’t think Northwestern has even sent out decisions so far. A friend of mine from Princeton wants to transfer with a 4.0 in Ops (yes, a 4.0 at P), and hasn’t heard back yet, and a ■■■■■■■■■ like you got into NU.

Good luck with everything in life but you should probably get more serious as you are no longer a school kid but a man with responsibilities.

good point, i haven’t heard back from NU either…

Maybe we can just ignore @cornellordie who is obviously just in it for the reaction. Probably some fat old reject who has never even tried to get a community college degree sitting in his moms basement in his nasy pee stained underwear getting off on the shock and awe over his posts. I hereby officially ignore him.

@cali2387 In terms of input, output, wealth, and everything, Northwestern is far beyond Cornell’s level. Stop denying the fact. Cornell has its reputation ruined due to so many backdoors and flaws. And people always make fun of Cornell by calling it the “lowest IVY”.

is it possible that i am unable to log in to check my decision because there are too many people log in at the same time?

Most people wouldn’t dare to apply to either Northwestern or Cornell. Everyone is mad simply (and rightfuly) because you are downplaying a school that people are still waiting for letters from and some have geared their whole lives towards. Simply as that.

But dont get me wrong guys. I am not trying to boast around or hurt u guys’ feelings. This way of doing it can be an effective medicine for some of the rejects to go along with their lives.

@Indeedforhelp I would call Cornell and ask them what you should do! :)

Does any econ major applicants got a decision today?

For those of you who got rejected, as I said earlier, Cornell is not an ideal school you want to attend to. So forget about it.

Known this thread for a long time but never posted.
Cornellordie, shame on you.
you must be rejected so you are extremely jealous of those who got in and say some ugly words to Cornell to comfort yourself.
YOU KNOW WHAT?
YOU SUCK

@CORNELLorDIE How beneficent of you.

yes they just told me that the link is crushed right now ;( Although I am pretty sure I am getting a rejection ;(

@Indeedforhelp
i am in the same situation with you
Did they say when should we check the website again?

Hmm… rejected from Cornell CAS. I thought I had decent application with good stats and specific reasons to transfer to Cornell. 3.96 GPA from UCLA 2250 SAT 3.8+ high school GPA, decent amount of clubs and activities, and so on. I knew how competitive transfer to Cornell CAS was, but the result is indeed somewhat disappointing. Does anyone have any idea whether transfer to Cornell CAS (with ~7% acceptance rate) is harder than transfer to Penn, Brown, or Northwestern CAS? The fact that their ranking is higher than Cornell’s disturbs me a bit.

Good luck for u guys who are still waiting. And for those of you who got rejected, keep in mind what I just said. Im off now.

Have no heard anything from ILR

@william95
Were you able to log into housing before getting your decision?

Too painful to hear other’s getting denial as well as for a fact that I am still waiting for the admission decision
