Official fall 2014 transfer thread

Just got an email from Ian, he said they are trying to finalize all ILR decisions in the next few days. oh shittttt

I honestly feel at peace with whatever happens.

Omgomgomg! exciting! Nervous! Yesyes…

@darshmark I am with you. Getting super anxious about it is only detrimental. Whatever happens, happens.

I applied for cals info sci, and my app was sent for review march 21 and on april 14, I got an email asking me for a timeline since my HS graduation; I replied on April 15. I still don’t have decision yet… Has anyone here gotten in to info sci, cals?

congrats. everyone here! :)

I got in. I am a sophomore at Northwestern. Turned down an acceptance from Columbia, which I somewhat am regretting. I have a 3.8, a brother who is an alum and a sister currently in the law school. I probably will not go, as I applied to 7 other schools as well. 1/4 American Indian and heavily involved on campus, where I am a student manager for the basketball team, am in the American Indian student interest group, and in a fraternity. I wish my best to everyone else here, and good luck.

anyone heard back today??
I applied to CAS, but the login page still shows my PIN has not been assigned.

Nothing for me yet- CALS.
My login page also says my PIN can’t be located :frowning:
Nothing on the transeval page either.

@Naylien‌ Same here

Same with me; I applied to CAS and still don’t have a pin.

I’m the same, CAS and haven’t heard anything back yet

is anyone else waiting to do their idoc until after/if they get accepted? that’s a lot of work for my mom back at home with all of the documents and i don’t want her to have to do it unless i’m accepted. i’m wondering if my strategy isn’t so great, because i got an email from collegeboard saying i need to do it immediately. lol.

@chemistryking‌ haha I’m doing the same thing. If I were at home it would be different but since I go to school so far away it’s so much paperwork to manage. I will probably find out my decision next week so I will just wait it out

Haha good to hear i’m not alone! I just start freaking out whenever i get an email telling me to do it. But you’re right one more week won’t hurt anything @lanbernas

I am not really expecting any decision on Friday so my wait continues to the finals week, haha…

@aerivus‌ Same here haha. But waiting is also distracting.

Has anybody recently discussed with a CAS admissions officer about the admission decision release times? Thanks!

@therearemiracles, I called the office last week and asked when I should be expecting my admission. They said they were planning on releasing bulks of decisions starting either next week (which is now this week) or two weeks later (which is next week now).
In all honesty, I want to call them and ask this question again, but I have called the admission too frequently that I really can’t call them anymore lol

Thank you for your quick response. I guess we’ll have to remain anxious for hopefully one more week. Best of luck!
