Official Fall Transfer 2009

Most likely…

@strider1
I took English I & II as dual credit and it’s included in my GPA.

Clint, congratulations!

Just curious - why won’t the astronomy transfer?

Do we send our HS transcripts to the admissions office? I was accepted but I need to send my high school transcripts to UT, evidently.

Yes, I remember distinctly overhearing a conversation about this while at the admissions office.

You need to bring them your HS transcripts at some point, to complete the process.

ericniel, even though he was rejected from mccombs was he atleast granted admission to his second choice?

Mcombs is a VERY tough school to get into.

… I suppose that goes without saying, though.

Jeez, it’s not even noon and I think I’ve checked my status nearly 20 times. I really hope we all find out soon.

me too! The waiting is driving me crazy…

from what it looks like…they are doing it sequentially…so first it was McComb’s business school…so idk it might be the Cockrell Engineering school next…or the Communications college.

Congrats to those who got accepted.

Anxiously waiting my decision but it will be June.

TMT, the buddy didn’t put a second choice. He didn’t want to go if he didn’t get in.

Oh, btw, they posted my decision between 1-2 p.m.

UT’s financial aid is swift. I received my package 2 days after my acceptance! I’m getting tuition fully covered through need-based grants. My current school is gypping me! UT offers me more need-based grants!

Thats great edacious! I hope I am as lucky as you. My family’s EFC is 19,174 but we have heavy medical bills because my dad is a cancer patient and underwent surgery and is going through treatment and such now. Also lost his job (he’s a car salesman, business is really bad of course and his place of work went bankrupt). Do you think they might cover my tuition too? I know I have to send UT’s fin aid office the special circumstances form, just curious to know how much they give to cases like this.

ok this might be a stupid question but i just want to know that those who got accepted already, can you tell me what happens when you log in and also where the decision is posted? like on the middle of the page or at the bottom? i am getting nervous now and i just don’t wanna be in a sudden shock. lol

edacious, congratulations! and what great news about the grants!

topowala, somebody answered this question on one of the earlier pages I think.

Topawala, it’s going to be in the exact same blue colored area where it says it’s currently reviewing your application. Really, it doesn’t even matter though. There are hundreds of words on that page, the only one your going to see is CONGRATULATIONS.

Sorry for straying off topic, but the last couple posts made me laugh and think of some things.

I think it’d be funny if when we get accepted, the status page isn’t the one we’re typically familiar with. Instead, it’s a page from a Where’s Waldo book, and you have to scan the page looking for the Admissions representative holding a sign saying “Congratulations”

lmao tmccormi,

did any international students hear yet?

I wonder what the rejection page looks like?
