Official Fall Transfer 2009

nope not yet. im surprised no one heard yesterday.

and to clint, thanks for the picture. now i can slowly look at that part when i log in. lol

I actually squint my eyes when I go to the UT status page lol. I don’t have much of a chance with my low GPA, but all my bad grades are from the early 90’s. Hopefully they take the upward grade trend into consideration. Good luck to everyone! :)

I get a little sick to the stomach every time I log in to check.

This is driving me crazy.

ahhh me too!!!
i really hope tomorrow is the day, i just want to know and get it over with.

I got accepted to McCombs also!

Stats:

Micro CLEP
Cal I In Progress currently an 89.8

Member of Phi Theta Kappa

Blake from Admissions told me there were three possibilities that could happen since I am in the middle of my Calculus class

 1. I get rejected
 2. They wait until june to see my transcript
 3. They just accept me before

and Yay it was the third!

Congratulations! It seems more and more likely that us non-business kids are going to have to wait even longer than expected

Forgive me everyone when I say…screw that business school…WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF US!!

I think tomorrow is the day…

Can you feel it in your bones or something?

mcalvellox, i’m really interested to see if you get in since I think we’re sort of close in gpa and we’re applying for the same major. Of course I won’t find out until the end of May/early June though :(

Congrats camille! I am excited that a lot of folks have had luck getting into McCombs. I am working on my 4.0 right now and if it all goes well I’ll have a 4.0 with all 5 indicator classes by the end of this semester.

I would be really worried if many of you got rejected, that would have been a key indicator of the toughness of getting in.

I can feel it running through my veins…

TMT90, I’m also interested to see if I get in.
The waiting is killer but fun at the same time…

Will let you know…

Hoping today is the day…

mcalvelloxx, i really hope your veins are right and that today is the day. lol. i wonder if they post decisions on the weekend. i don’t think i can make it all weekend without knowing.

anna93: would you mind putting your stats? and also what major did you apply to?

topawala20, i have a 3.11 GPA – which I know is ridiculous, BUT my bad grades were from my first attempt at college in the 90’s. I have 80+ hours, but some of those hours were classes I repeated when I returned to school. I have my Associate’s in Science and have a lot of volunteer work. My first choice major was Biology and I did well in all my science classes. Hoping I will at least be considered for their Fresh Start program.

ahhh why are they taking so looong??

I got accepted!!

College of Natural Sciences (mathematics)
4.0
52 transferable hours (35 AP and 17 at A&M)

And that’s about it. Very few EC’s. Good luck to everyone else!

Grats Fusionshrimp!!! Im still waiting to hear from the college of natural sciences too. Hopefully soon!

Wow lots of 4.0ers getting accepting. That makes me a little nervous, but definitely a big congrats to you guys and way to go for making straight As. Does anyone know how many transfer spots are available in liberal arts or total?
