Wow i’m blown away by all the acceptances!!! Huge congrats to everyone. Anyone know how many transfers they let in? Save some room for me!

TMT i’ll tell them to let you in asap ![]()
cant have a fellow longhorn out in rain

Haha thanks zircushio! Unlike you lucky people I still have to work my butt off to keep my gpa high so I can send off my spring transcript. So stressed out right by finals and classes, just can’t wait for 3 weeks to be over so I can be at home “relaxing” (if thats even possible) till I hear from UT.

ag54, yes it was me.
I’m not sure of where I will end up going.

It would be funny if A&M rejects me :P

zircushio, congratulations!!!
As an out of stater, especially, I think you might want to apply to live on campus. I think there is still room on campus and it will be easier to meet people.

thank youuuu!!!
:)

the only thing i’m worried about is getting into a place i dont really like, for example jester :/

Good luck with the housing zircushio, luckily I had already gotten an apt over spring break in Austin and would’ve had to drive to San Marcos everyday if I hadn’t gotten in.

I wanted to ask you though, are you a New York Giants fan??? It’d be nice to know I’m not the only one in Austin, I think 7 years in Dallas is enough for me thank you very much.

GO BLUE!
lol if your not a nyg’s fan here, you’re practically kicked out of society. whats funny is, i live maybe 5 minutes from the stadium :)

Midwestmom, do you know what dorms might have space available if we applied in January?

Sorry, don’t know.

i dont know if i should be worrying or not, but i am.
am applying to Mccombs, i have a 4.0 and all business indicators. i have the phi theta kappa seal on my transcript. however, i did not submit neither a resume or a recommendation letter hence they are not required. Is this bad?!

Moonwatcher, I have a 4.0 and I am still waiting to hear from Communications. I wouldn’t stress, the admissions people said they will be making their decisions up until the start of May. Good Luck!

im starting to worry because all the other applicants submitted resume and rec letters, while it was not required. and it seems like they prefer those who sent their resume and rec letters over those who did not, is that correct?

moonwatcher I don’t know, I don’t have a letter of rec (my teacher never sent it…yes I am angry…) but I did send a resume. I have a 3.81 gpa, don’t know if lack of recommendation matters.

i sent in both…but i’m sure that wont be an indicator if you get accepted or not… :)

Moonwatcher-

I did not send in any letters of recommendation, and my resume was pretty basic and only really told them about my work experience.

I think you’re going to be fine with that 4.0, hope you hear soon man.

thanks guys. that made me feel better :). good luck to yall

moonwatcher i am on the same page as you… i have a 4.0 and did not send in either letter of rec or resume but im applying to COLA

i hope they take into consideration the 4.0 over a letter of rec

moonwatcher123 and roazidd: how many hours do you’ll have?

i have 28 completed… and im working on 13 this semester and i should have a 4.0 for this semester too
