<p>Quick Question:
The score sheet has a blank section for a "Combined English/Writing score.
I understand that the essay scores are not available yet, but on the bottom of the page, when I click on “view national ranks” for “writing scores,”
there is a chart that contains combined english/writing scores out of 36.
What is that all about?</p>
<p>what is the sat math equivalent to a 29 in ACT math?</p>
<p>Comp. - 31</p>
<p>English - 30
Math - 34
Reading - 31
Science - 27</p>
<p>****ed, I thought that I’d do much better in reading and english.
But I expected the low science score, haha.</p>
<p>lol u know what
Im takin it again!
i don’t believe i can’t bring my english score from 25 to a 30!
then my composite score will be something like 32.
GOTTA WORK!</p>
<p>Wow, CC is full of over-achievers, I see. Congratulations and good night to all of you.</p>
<p>I was surprised to get a 34 in math and science.
For math, I ran out of time and literally circled 4 of the answers C.
And for science, I was not 100% sure on about a third of the test and usually made educated guesses.
But I was more surprised that I got a 33 in both reading and english, because I thought those sections were relatively easy.</p>
<p>lol can someone explain this to me?
according to the ACT company, getting a 30 is like better than 96% of all the testers.
yet… everyone here seems to get like a 33~
lol wth??!!</p>
<p>yeah I’m dieing to get a 30 and some people here are disappointed</p>
<p>what’s wrong with you people?!</p>
<p>well in fact im not happy with my 30 too…
altho im very curious about this XD~</p>
<p>I still haven’t gotten mine, and I’m ~2 hours from the national ACT headquarters :/</p>
<p>Composite 31

<p>wow. i got owned…
HOW DID I GET A 24 IN ENGLISH MAN. WOW</p>
<p>oh and wow congratulations pohaku. how much did you study?</p>
<p>Not me, my daughter. Second pass at the test. Three weeks with a school prep course after school and some additional study at home. She took the test the morning of a major choir/drama performance at school so she was somewhat distracted. She’s planning on taking it again in April as she thought she would do better. Standardized tests are not her thing and have always been a challenge.</p>
<p>Composite - 31 :(</p>
<p>English - 34
Math - 29
Reading - 32 (Huh?)

<p>Hugely disappointed with my reading score. Got three 36s when I took the practice tests from the Real ACT book.</p>
<p>As for people saying that we shouldn’t be upset if we got 30+:</p>
<p>A lot of scholarships have a 32 cutoff. 31 is like…gah.</p>
