I just created this thread so that people can share possible curve predictions, possible score glitches, and once the scores come out, post their scores and talk about how they studied for the ACT and how others can improve.
Okay, thanks! Very nervous!
quick question do the writing scores affect the composite scores a lot? I got a 34 comp, with a 32 on reading and 35 on English. If I got a 10-12 on essay, could it go up to a 35/36
The essay does not affect the composite score at all. You do get a total “english” composite score that factors in the english section and the essay, but this score is fundamentally meaningless for college admissions. Your composite score and your essay score are pretty much considered separately, with your composite score being of more importance.

He is happy but didn’t study. Just wanted to see how he did without prep. He wants to raise his score. What can he do?
Thanks!

I think you can answer your own question…

I did better than on the Dec one (I got C 29 with E 34 M 24 R 31 and S 25)
I’m really not sure what to do to pull up my math and science scores…I studied like crazy for this one for math and science and only went up 1 or 2 points. Meanwhile I did’t even LOOK at English/reading yet I improved 2 points…ugh!
Thinking of getting a tutor at this point b/c I’m not sure what else to do…

Pathetic, but oh well - scores aren’t going anywhere important. They were only for scholarship purposes (needed a 31 composite), but I guess I’ll try again on the SAT.
why haven’t my scores been posted?! does anyone know how soon they’ll come? I know on the website it says maximum of 8 weeks but I filled in all my information correctly! I need to know whether to sign up for March SAT or not!
My scores aren’t up either.
Still says registered.

Very harsh curve on Reading. -1 was a 34
Harsh curve indeed, my son missed one in Englsh, down to a 35. Not complaining, I’m proud of him, but usually you can miss one without lowering your score.

I was literally 1 question away from a 36. (-2 on science was 33, -1 was a 35). While that is honestly so frustrating, I’m happy enough with my scores that I probably won’t be retaking it.
How do you know -1 was a 35. I think -1 was a 34 as I have seen people with a 34. You are talking about the Saturday test right?
same here and I really don’t want to find out I failed this Friday on my bday :(((
