- This was my first time taking it , and I have a couple questions:
- Is a 2320 basically as good as a 2400 or a high 2300s score to colleges, or is it considered lesser?
- Does it make sense to retake? My Dad is saying that it looks more impressive to get a 2320 in one take than to get a possibly slightly higher score in two sittings.
writing 800, math 700, reading 580 with a total of 2080. It was my first test and Im happy I got over my initial goal of 2050, but I need to work on reading and math lol
@banana798 First off, great job. Secondly, that score is great and no college is going to care that you missed maybe 3 questions. The college with the highest average SAT scores is Caltech and their average is 2300

Really scared- I dont think theyre going to give the same test, considering theyve given it twice before already, but the CR curve is scaring me
I hope we get the scores before the March test, and I hope i can give a convincing arguement for the loyalty one
I got a 2150, and have been scoring around 2280’s on practice tests. Should I take teh March SAT or May?
Well the registration deadline for the March test already passed, so its your choice. You could still register for March and pay a fee or just register for May without paying for the late fee.
I don’t mind paying the fee. What would you recommend tho?
Hmmm. I would say to go for the March test if you think you can improve (even though your 2150 is still pretty good) and meet your expectation lol its up to you though.

Math: 700 (4 wrong)
CR: 700 (6 wrong)
How did everyone do on their essays? I did a lot worse than what I expected 
and does anyone know when the scans of them are available?

Do you guys think I can get into university of Maryland with 2.6 gpa. 1400/1600 SAT? (I’m pakistani)
@coolwhipped wow thats really harsh. It’s kind of unfair tbh because the curve is only based on the eastern urban states that tend to have the smarter kids and the curve is based on a smaller sample size.
@liveformusic i think they said that they were not releasing them for the retake and so the fee will be refunded
WOO! I got my scores back today (I was a February makeup-er)
I got a 2070 (640 CR: 740 Math: 690 Writing: 8 essay)
However, I’ve got a superscore of a 2100 now! (Math was 770 my first SAT) YAY! (This was the score I’ve been wanting)
I’ve got to thank the CC forum here for giving me the resources, especially additional CB practice tests and exams.
