**Official Franklin & Marshall RD Class of 2024**

do you mind sharing stats?

What was the gift aid without loans, and was it all need based aid?

stats: 3.5 UW gpa, not many ECs but very unique, student council, study abroad semester, not from the NE

Sorry I am a little late I just found out decisions were out.
Here are my stats:

Accepted

33 ACT
91/100 UW
Athlete (will play at F&M)
Strong ECs and Essays
Never read my Recs. lol:)

Franklin and Marshall has given me the best aid so far 63k in grants (71k in total with federal grants/loans/work-studies)
Accepted to Skidmore (great aid as well) and Bard,
Waiting on Wesleyan

I was accepted and found out through the online portal but does anyone know if they send a packet in the mail with the acceptance letter/financial aid/brochure through regular mail?

I got a negative value for cost but I took out loans out of COA and so I would only have to pay 3.5k.

Stats:
SAT: did not submit
GPA: 3.94/4.0
Rank: our school doesn’t do rank but I was probably top 10
EC:
President/founder of Asian American Club
Interned at a large hospital in Chicago for 2 years
Cook for 2 years
Manager of a dance group for 1 year
(It’s all over the place)
Interview: It went really well (I emailed my regional admissions and she said wanted me at F&M after)
Rec: I guess they were good

Hooks: First Generation and Low Income

Surprised they accepted me because I had like a 0 EFC and F&M are need-aware so

Yes, it was all need-based aid but it wasn’t loan free. Gave me like 4k in loans or 5? but it wasn’t bad because with loans the COA was negative definitely manageable for a low-income students.

Has anyone from the waitlist heard anything from the school? I’m an international student, and franklin and marshall has been my dream school for some time now. What does one even do to increase their chances? Has anyone gotten off the waitlist yet?

Late post…but CONGRATS to those that have been accepted:)

I also got accepted to F&M with a full ride and I’m pretty stoked.

Hooks: (other people have mentioned this already, but I really think that this helped) first generation and low income.

Leadership EC’s helped out as well I’d say. I also showed F&M that I wanted THEM (toured the college, interviewed, etc.)

Hi everyone. Congratulations to those accepted! Would you please share where you are deciding among, and why you may or may not be leaning towards F&M?

Hey guys, I was accepted and I’ve committed to F&M.
4.0 GPA
Didn’t send ACT but sent AP scores.
ECs: community service, novel writing, internship at a museum, no sports but I did yoga lol
Three summer programs, one for HS credit and two for college credit.
I focused on my love of writing and wanting to study history a lot in my application, which I think made up for the fact that it also showed I’m not much of a math and science person.
I also got into Bucknell, but got A LOT less aid from them and wanted a smaller school so F&M was perfect. Seems like F&M has been pretty affordable for most who have committed, is anyone worried about their scholarship or general aid money decreasing year by year? I’ve read that current students have had a problem with this.

hi  i know it’s been a long time but by any chance do you still remember what questions they asked?

Accepted fall 2022. Anyone else?

Yes – accepted!

would you mind sharing your stats? and financial aid?
