@agg999 I have both, but my pay now option was always there…
Never checked the admissions tab before, so don’t know about transfer credits

IDK. I think the transfer credit just got added for everyone under the “Admissions” tab. I don’t remember it being there before.

Where is the transfer credit? I don’t see it

Edit: jk I found it.

Wheres everyone from? Any international applicants here?
I am from Pakistan ;

I think I’ve seen it before, because its already highlighted purple, meaning that I’ve clicked on the link before. But idk, hopefully its a sign!
@Bhhazy I’m an American Citizen but they’re considering me as an International applicsnt. for Admission purposes( or so they say). International- Nigeria.

I mean I looked at the link yesterday and it wasn’t purple for me. I probably never clicked on it (but that is pretty unlikely). So, I guess everyone has the transfer credit link.

I was looking at the acceptance rate stats from last year (<a href=“2013 College Acceptance Rates - Interactive Feature - NYTimes.com”>2013 College Acceptance Rates - Interactive Feature - NYTimes.com), and it’s funny how drastically things have changed this year

@May2013SAT-Unfortunately for student GA Tech’s joining the Common App has made those numbers worse. Even two years ago the numbers were much different. Tech’s admission office reported that they received approximately 24-26K applications this year of which 12K were in EA. Of the EA pool they accepted 5K and deferred around 3200 to 3500. (I can’t find the report right now). If you add in the defers to the RD pool you have about 16.5K vying for the remaining 2500 spots for admission.

The best advice the Tech rep gave my DD two years ago was to apply EA. Good luck to everyone. I know the waiting can be tough.

@itsv you are right. really nervous now. I think GA tech should take in more RD because chances are many people prob. applied here without having any intentions to attend, if you know what I mean (plus, the supplement was really small so that would make it even more convenient for random people to apply here). However, that is probably not going to be true and GA tech is probably still going to accept around 2500 like you said.

Can someone please explain where I would find the “Fourth Tab” on Buzzport?

@Bluepike basically log on to your buzzport and click on My Requirements and Eligibility. You will see that there are 3 tabs now: Personal Information, Admissions etc. If you got accepted, you will see the 4th tab (Campus services or something) on Friday night/Saturday early morning. Good Luck!

Let me clarify something. On Friday, the application quick view will be gone. This means you can’t see the tabs the same way you are seeing it right now. The way you check your tabs is Home (at the top) -> Registration/Oscar (on the right) -> Check the tabs

Anyone know at what time the 4th tab starts to show up?

It says that only the “application quick view” will not be available but the rest of the portal will be so maybe there is a chance that the infamous 4th tab can be seen on friday night :-)

I just checked my buzzport now (12:33 EDT). When I click on home and then click on Registration/Oscar, the page got blocked. Is this happening to anyone else? Hopefully, the 4th tab is underway! My Quick View got blocked too. IDK why? They said it wouldn’t be available starting from 12 PM.

update: maybe it was just some random error. I can view it again. but no 4th tab :(

Login again but found nothing happened. Frustration.

all we can do is wait and see. hope for the best!

It’s 12pm easterrn time zone

Did anyone notice the famous fourth tab yet? I have not seen it, but Application Quick View has disappeared.

It should show up in the evening or whenever they decide to update
