Didn't see one...a little more confusing since they don't use the common app. Good luck to everyone!

Is anyone sending in a mid-term report? We don’t actually have mid-term grades and I didn’t see a mid-term report form on the GTown website like I did on the CommonApp…

Hey all, gonna bump this since the deadline is approaching. I just submitted my application after compulsively looking over it a million times. How long were your guy’s essays? Mine’s were both 500-550 words (they said approximately a page each, so in terms of single space, 12-point times new roman font, that should be about right).

essay length sounds right. I’m done w/one which is in that range. Working harder to condense the primary essay…less opportunity to paint a picture w/their application vs. the common app & supplements

anyone going to send them a mid-term report? I know they don’t have/ask for one but since I’m getting it for other schools figure maybe send them a photocopy as well?

Yes, the notification deadline is June 1st; however, if you get accepted, you will be notified by email in April or May. Rejection and wait list notifications come by mail only. If you don’t get anything by mid may its safe to assume you probably didn’t get in.

College GPA: 4.0 (16 credits)
High School GPA: 92/100
SAT: 1450 (1470 superscore)/2160(2180)
ECs: Very average

I don’t feel confident at all about getting in. I procrastinated writing my essay and ended up writing some below-par essays. My first essay was only 260-300 words, so I am really worried that will hurt my chances. My second was about 500-600 words.

ahh…just by seeing these stats, I’m scared already…

Applied as a junior at Montgomery to MSB (international major)

College GPA: 3.71(65 credit, receiving my aa degree in may) member of PTK

essays were decent…but who knows ??

Does anyone know when we would be contacted for interview?

^ Good luck. You know that Georgetown doesn’t consider your writing score, right? If you submit your SATs, they will look at it on a 1600 scale.
