same here Jay 327 !!!

Yay i can wait for the rejection

Going off last years thread, I would say most of the acceptances are sent out. A few more will probably still go out, but the majority of the letters will be rejections and waitlists.

I hope it will be a flat out rejection for me. Don’t want to be on the waitlist…

@SAT, are you going to accept the waitlist?

^Yea, probably.

I look forward to my rejection in the mail.

What!!! @SAT100 that’s horrible!!! This is completely crushing my hope.

^Well, I could be wrong, since they started sending out letters late this year.

^ No, you’re probably right. I’ll just reconcile with the fact I am rejected.

I called admissions this afternoon, the CAS notifications come out on the first of June. If you need to know what your decision is ahead of time for reasons such as a deposit deadline at another school, you can put in a request for an early read although it is not 100% guaranteed your request will be granted.
I also asked whether or not requesting an early read would hinder or at all affect my decision and the student I was speaking to said it wouldn’t. They also said that the early read is the final decision.

I called as well and the person I spoke with said they haven’t started notifying applicants unless that applicant has a deposit deadline for another school

well… I hope I at least in Waitlist!! :(:(

Since I’m MSB applicant, I think I have no hope for me…

I am also MSB applicant as well. Haven’t heard anything from them since the interview. maybe just look forward to my rejection letter.

Many people say they had an interview, but I wasn’t offered one. Is that bad?

^ Apparently an applicant’s opportunity to be interviewed is dependent on willing alumni in the surrounding area. So if there are no alumni in the vicinity willing to interview, then you don’t get one.

@ snapple

they say that…but I don’t think they are really being honest. there have been a few people in this thread who received their acceptance letters already and didn’t request an early decision. I think at this point (atleast for those of us who applied to the college), a lot of their acceptances have already gone out and those of us who are still waiting should probably expect to be either rejected or waitlisted

^ I agree. I mean, I don’t expect them to say, “Most acceptances already went out.” They are being tactful, that’s all.

I have decided to turn down Georgetown… definitely the hardest decision in my life. Hopefully that can help someone on the WL.

On what basis are you guys saying all the acceptance letters are sent out and only rejection/waitlists are left? I checked last years thread and acceptances were out until late May.

I agree with blueeeish!!!
Even though this year’s acceptance is not that many…

I don’t know why people are relying on last thread so much…
