OMG really???
How is ur GPA?
Which school did you apply to?

i posted my stats and stuff on the latest page of the Georgetown Transfer Questions thread, I had applied to MSB, i had a 3.75 at Northeastern and a 33 ACT…check the other thread for more info, my teacher recs, essays, and ECs were my strongest part, i think.

congratulations to all of those who were accepted!!! see you on the hill soon!!!

P.S. Any word on when financial aid, scholarships and residential packages come?

I received my financial aid/scholarship packet yesterday via email

If you don’t mind saying, was it generous? Do you know your EFC?

@Georgetown1 - It was definitely more than I was expecting to receive as a transfer and needless to say I was very happy!

^pinklola, how much deposit did you have to pay? I am asking this because if you need a lot of aid they might lower the ridiculous 900 dollar fee. Since I have not received my fin.aid yet, I do not know what’s going on for me in this regard. How did it work out for you? Did you have to pay the full 900? What about other accepted students?

MSB applicants, if you wanna know your decision, email Kimberly Harves kah4@georgetown.edu

She just told me I was rejected…

i’m sorry to hear that transfermonk. would you mind posting stats?

any SFS responses yet?

^I received an acceptance from SFS slightly more than a week ago. Sadly I’m not sure I can attend because they seem to be giving me a substantial amount of loans that my current school replaces with grants.

Could you please post your stats? also, did you get an email or snail mail? congratulations on your accomplishments!

Sorry to hear that transfermonk :(

I’m going to e-mail that address right now, so nervous…

^im019268, I received an email and probably paper version by snail mail which I cannot check as I am not in the US at this moment.

HS GPA - 4.23
Rank - 1
ACT - 33
SAT - 1870
Good recommendations.

@FutureTransfer it’s not a $900 “fee” per se but a deposit that will go towards your tuition anyway. So unless you plan on paying less than $900 in tuition to go to Georgetown (in which case let me know, you can pay for my late night snacks) you might as well pay all of it.

Waitlisted at MSB this morning!

So at this point I haven’t received anything, should I expect to not be accepted?

Any SFS yet !!, This has been too long !!

@MisterF
I am also really worried. Maybe its because of what people have been saying admissions is telling them - that the application materials for some students were received late and so their decisions are late. At any rate, I will be calling them tomorrow. I kinda feel like that is a bad omen, since everybody who called seemed to have been told they’re rejected =(.
Does anybody know if we need to update them with our final grades?

quesswho: i agree. it seems like that to me too. i mean if we look at how many acceptances there are on here, there should technically still be a lot of acceptances to come. the only thing is we just don’t know how many were sent out to people who haven’t declared it here on cc. it’s perfectly possible that only 10-15 of the accepted applicants use this site. i’m actually highly confident that allmost all of the decisions have been made and that fact that we’re not hearing back makes me uneasy
