Does anyone have everything processed by Tech? I submitted my stuff two weeks ago, and they’re still missing my school profile and transcript.

My file is under review…

So on Buzzport it says you have everything?

Yupp. I didn’t send in a LOR though, so that has an ‘X’ mark next to it. The rest is all green checked. What seems to be your problem exactly?

I sent in my school profile, rec letter, and transcript through naviance 2 weeks ago (at the same time), and Buzzport only says they have my rec letter

Wait it out. Im sure it’s just a matter of time. Did you try emailing the admissions office?

The following was just posted on GT’s admissions page.
Freshman Application Update:
Paper documents and electronic documents sent outside Common App are being processed daily but may take 3-5 weeks to reflect on your application checklist.
All documents received electronically by 11:59 P.M. EST on November 1 or postmarked by that date will be considered on-time for Early Action.

Please do not contact our office until after November 15 about missing documents; we will work with families on a case-by-case basis after that time.

Had the same circumstances, and today got the green checks that everything is in.

If I sent in one SAT score and decided my November scores were better, can I still send those in?

Can someone chance me?

I have a 4.0 UnWeighted GPA and a 5.2 Weighted,
Currently taking AP Calc. AB and BC, AP American Government, AP Macro-Economics, And I am a part of the AICE Program at my school, I take around 5-7 AICE Classes a year.
I am in the top 1 Percent of my class,

Can someone rate me?
I’m US permanent resident. I took O-A levels from my country of citizenship. I have 8 A’s and 1 B in O level and 3A’s in A level. My SAT1 : 2100, SAT2 : phy+maths(2)+chem = 2350.

*Worked as Lab assistant in a renowned university during summer’13
*Among top 5 in my class(no ranking)
My preferred major is Aerospace Engineering. I am from a low-income family. Will I get president scholarship? Or else I cant afford to attend GT. Thank you.

I feel I’m a strong contestant but I realized my common app info had some typos

@aerospace15

You can’t add your SAT2 scores like that haha, they’re all individual scores

i know, just added them :3 800+750+800

Has anyone been accepted yet? I know the tentative date is December 21, but other schools I have applied to notified me of my acceptance way before the decision date. I know that in the past, they have waited until decision day to publish; however, with the new common app system, this could change, right?

In the case that nobody has yet been accepted, has anyone’s application status changed to something along the lines of “Decision Made”?

Georgia tech does not have rolling admission

The switch to the common app will not affect the decision date. Tech will be sticking to the December 21st deadline

Are the ACT scores/SAT scores listed on the buzz port for u guys?

I am applying RD GA Tech… Please provide with advice as to what ACT reports to send… I have extremely high SAT II scores (800’s), GPA, EC’s etc… But, my only drawback here is the ACT
Considering GA Tech only considered eng, math, eng/writ, let me know what official reports I should send… I am going for engineering.

1st attempt:
Com: 31
Eng: 28
Math: 33
Read: 32
Sci: 30
Eng/writing: 26

2nd attempt:
Com: 29
Eng: 29
Math: 34
Read: 29
Sci: 23 (I can’t believe it… this is mainly the reason I am iffy on sending this report, although they say thry don’t consider science)
Eng/Wri: 29

Thanks!

Well you can send both and they do a very weird but helpful superscore.

They take highest English, Math, and Eng/Writing scores and soon translate them into “SAT scores” for admissions.

So you would have a 29 English, 33Math, 29 Eng/Writing

A 29 should be about 640 each

A 33M should be about 740

640 + 640 + 740 = 2020 Give or take a 30 points
