The thing is that tech admitted more students than they had room for last year, so I feel like this year, they’re going to be a bit more conservative about offering admission.
^So basically we are screwed.

@seamon, I’m not sure, but that picture is almost definitely on campus (with the picture of the tech trolly hanging in the background and it looks like they’re right outside of the Clary Theatre in the student success center), so I’m guessing he might work/research/study somewhere at Tech, or was invited from a school really close by (they have programs for valedictorians/salutatorians in the area), or he might be an athlete.
Hey, those are just my guesses. But then again, there’s slightly less applicants this year and qualified people will be accepted regardless.

@Jboon12345 Yea I feel you, I heard UMich deferred a lot of people this year. Even a crazy smart guy I know got deferred, which was super shocking.
I think Ga tech will be more selective than Michigan. It’s ranked higher after all(For engineering at least).
@Jboon12345 I think the EA acceptance rate hovers at around 40% and will probably stay around there this year. I’m not familiar with UMich, but I would say both are quite competitive.
I know this really isn’t the time to say it since decisions have already been made, but how advantageous is it to be a female applicant to tech? I mean they’ve gotten more females to apply, so I feel like it doesn’t help as much anymore.

Well I have over 2300, female in comp sci, nearly 3.9 UW, and really good ECs SO LOL BUT TECH IS GETTING MORE AND MORE COMPETITVE AHHHH WHAT IF IT MEANS SOMETHING

Maybe the 2 guys are trolllllling in Facebook. Another possibility is that perhaps GA Tech people are activating the 4th tab as they enter the admission results in the decision page.
