i got in
OOS (TX)
750 M 640 CR 660W
32 ACT
GPA was about 3.8?

looks good for OOS waiver? but no
class rank: top 18%
going to a good school hurt me!

Yarr...and all of you other new Clemson acceptees: Congratulations! I am lurking on several boards at schools that my son is interested in. (he's a jr) With us being oos, too, I am a bit concerned when I look at your stats and the fact that you didn't receive an oos waiver. When you said that going to a good school hurt you it hit home here. Our my son's class of just over 300, he has 49 kids with GPA of over 4.0. He just got his gpa and rank and he, too, is in the 18th percentile with a 3.9. Do colleges look at the strength of the respective high schools? Or is it just numbers to them? I wish you all of the best!
