<p>I also just received a call. Well actually it came at about 4:00 Pacific Time. I freaked out when I saw the area code. She told me that the committee had just finished meeting and she was happy to offer me a place in next year's class. She said that we would be receiving packets of information hopefully by next thursday.</p>
<p>I also wrote a short letter expressing my interest in attending Harvard and why I believed I could contribute. My interviewer also wrote a second letter for me. Have hope guys, I am a middle class white guy from California. They are obviously no longer just admitting special cases. </p>
<p>p.s She seemed to say that she would be working through the weekend and until 9:00 her time tonight. More news may be on the way.</p>

<p>I am starting to go a bit crazy. They called my GC (as mentioned earlier) to see if I was still interested, implying that they would take me if I definitely wanted to come. When my GC told them I would absolutely attend, they said great but it's "very competitive." I think they are playing me though, since I still haven't heard anything :/</p>
