As many have posted over the weekend, it appears none of the waitlistees have logon access to either app status nor admitted students link. Admin office has advised this is meaningless.</p>

<p>This is crazy--Monday is my work from home day but it seems like I am checking in every half hour to see if there is anything new. Has anyone had any conversation with admissions office today? IvyMom-you are the greatest--keeping that list updated. It is fascinating to see where the students are from, etc. Thanks-</p>

My D got her residence hall assignments from her sate school, and she is very happy as she got what she requested.</p>

<p>This thread has shown great supportive, loving and caring. You are wonderful parents and students. It is one of the best threads. I have no child on the Harvard waiting list. I come here as often as the parents who have kids on the waiting list. I am enjoying read your inspiring comments and share your anxiety. <p>I am a new member too and am reading this thread with great interest. You can add my D to the list too. I think the longer the process, the less likely the kid would be interested as they have their mind all set for the committed school.</p>
<p>New members...it would be helpful if when joining the list you could post the geographic area you are coming from (ditto for those who are already on the list without indicating your State or area). It does seem as if there is some effort on the part of admissions to deal with the waitlist on a region by region basis.</p>

<p>Momcheckingin, the kids are a lot more mature today. My D told me that it is OK to go to so and so. As a parent, it is a bit sad to see that she put in the hard work, got great grades in all 4 years of high school and received the National Merit Scholarship but can't get to where she wanted to go....</p>
