It said “We’re sorry, but you no longer have access to the Applicant Status web site.”

I wonder when they’ll send out emails. Ugh

Called Admissions; they said they’ll begin releasing decisions at 5pm. Good luck to all!

To those of you who got a glimpse at what appeared to be a decision yesterday during their technical glitch - the decision as shown was final.

@Everlastinglight but yesterday you said it wasn’t valid?

@Everlastinglight Not saying that I have any reason to expect my decision to be different from what I saw yesterday, but how do you know that? Or what makes you say that?

@happyfeet123 @TheEarlyBird I emailed the committee with the screenshot of the glitch, and they said that the incident was unintentional but content nevertheless accurate. The admissions officer who emailed me back was very thorough and firm in her response; the decision is final, and few of us who got to access the portal during the technical difficulty just happened to be lucky to see the decision earlier than other applicants. (I don’t think “lucky” is really an appropriate word here but has been used for lack of my own vocabulary.)

Rejected. I expected that, though.

It is final decision. Anyone in this thread get accepted or wait listed?

rejected. third one in the last three days, absolutely gutted

Also rejected. No surprise there. But at least now I don’t have to play the “what if” game in my head.

rejected as well!

I’m not too bummed out. I’ll be applying to Harvard again in 2 years (except this time for grad school!)

Does anyone know how many applicants they accepted?

12 out of over 1,300!

Did you apply alithos?

@qwertychester yes, and I got lucky to have been placed on the waiting list. I’d rather not share particulars just yet

Rejected of course

Stil waiting on Columbia, Cornell, and Swarthmore College.

Good luck on Tuesday for Columbia @afghan00 !
