<p>Waitlisted at Wash U but accepted to UChicago and Northwestern. My feelings about this are mixed</p>

<p>I got accepted to WashU, waitlisted at UChicago, and rejected at Northwestern. None of this makes any sense…</p>
<p>Am I the only one whose first decisions are coming out next Thursday? </p>
<p>If you only applied to Ivy League/Duke/Stanford/similar schools then yes @book05 . Most others try to release them before the Ivies to draw kids in and because they aren’t as vindictive :)</p>
<p>Is there a portal or something that we use to check our decisions on the 27th? Or do we find out throug an email?</p>

Official method of notification is via email decision, followed by letters. Otherwise, you can always try your PIN to try to get on the Accepted Students website and if you can get through, then you are in. Otherwise, you did not make it. </p>

No I didn’t ask for aid. I am convinced that the sheer amount of qualified applicants this year introduced a factor called luck.</p>
<p>Guys can someone give me some advice? Recently I’ve won a prestigious model un award at an international conference at Harvard, and I’ve started a really successful club raising awareness of international women’s oppression. But i never notified my prospective schools about any of this. Is too late to email? Have I severely screwed myself? I didn’t even know you COULD update your schools

<p>Call them up if you want to update them or fax them. They want to hear about things like starting clubs</p>
<p>But my question is, is it too late? The decision comes out in 4 days. </p>
