@MikeNY5 I agree, it all depends on the school. If it’s one that will make people look at you differently, then no lol

Don’t have to worry about others who don’t get in because there’s only one other person in my school applying to an Ivy… go public school!
Also, I’m beyond nervous. Best of luck everyone!

@Chapman22 I go to a private school and there are only two other people, including myself.

Advice to everyone: find something to do. Watch your favourite show, put on a playlist of your favourite artist, and relax. There is nothing you can do now, so stressing out about it isn’t going to change anything. I admire you all for having the drive and courage to apply here. Let’s be honest: most of us are going to be rejected. It’s just statistics. But with drive and courage like yours, you’re going to end up doing amazing things regardless of where you end up.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

Can I call them right now?

Ew I just realised that the grammar in the first sentence of my previous post is disgusting. Please ignore that and don’t judge me; I had just woken up :-S

Harvard has probably sent out the official letters in the mail by now! Good luck everyone!

I’m in Southern NH; do you think it’s possible I’ll receive mine today if the mail has already gone out?

Logged into the Portal, and I got this sass:

So much sassafras.

Why did you choose mail decison?

Which apparently is a genus of three extant and one extinct species of deciduous trees

I don’t think LAMuniv’s post necessarily means that he chose mail decision over email. Don’t they send a letter/package regardless you choose to hear via email or not? Especially the ones accepted? I’m just guessing, since that’s how other schools work (especially for accepted students).

LAMuniv, you’re not very far from me. I live less than an hour away from Keene, NH.

@humanities2014 Oh cool! I’m about 40 minutes outside of Manchester, NH

I chose not to receive my decision via email. I will be waiting for the mail and I doubt it will get here (many hours away from Harvard) before mid-next week at-least. I will attempt to use the “portal” come 5pm and if it works, great. If not then I will simply wait for the letter to confirm any bad news.

@LAMuniv
I doubt that you will recieve your letter today. Tommorow seems most probable though! I am sure you will already know by then!

6 to 7 hours left!!! Good luck everyone!!! SO excited for all of you!!!

!!!Құдайым көмектесе гөр!!!

Does anybody know if your decision is in the subject line of the email? Like, if I get an email that doesn’t say “Congratulations” do I know its over? For irrational personal reasons I’m not checking right away but the email sender and subject show up anyway and I don’t want it spoiled until I check later

i’m in the same position^. I am at work until 7 and do not want to check until I’m home, so I deleted my Gmail app. Yes, I’m ridiculous. I just don’t want to get a notification that starts with “We regret to inform you…” in the middle of my shift.

Did harvard give a portal email?

!!!4 hours left=)))!!!
