Sorry for the earlier goofup, i was at work, and mistyped and didnt even notice. thanks for pointing out!
(If the moderators approve) I thought it was time
to perhaps get a RD thread as the application
deadline is just 2 weeks away now! So if youre
applying to H in the RD round, feel free to join in!

Hello everybody. Till April do us apart! :P

Hope to listen from you guys and possibly bond over (what seems to me) a worrying and tense winter!

I’m applying regular decision too
Well, even if there is almost no chance we meet there since I don’t even have an average app, I sincerely wish you all good luck (we’ll definetely need some). To which other colleges are you applying to guys ?

Interviews i have no idea of. Sorry POmani. :(

Hey desperatefrench! Well you never know its all about being interesting. Maybe you are far more interesting than us! Who knows?
Im applying to Ivies (except brown) + MIT + Stanford!
You?

@guyinblue : LOL When I read the threads here on CC I just feel even more lousy . But, well who knows ? I’m applying to 22 colleges (I had only planned 6 but I’ve been seriously advised to widen to increase my chances) . There’s Harvard, of course, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Stanford, MIT, Vandy, WUSTL, UChicago and so on + more reachable schools (Macalester, Tufts, Trinity CT (I’ve been told I was too good for Trinity but…I prefer to be sure) + colleges in France which are almost not selective, until the end of first year (I’m planning to study medicine).

Cheers for the responses guys Dayum I thought my applying to nine was a bit much! I’m applying to Harvard, Prineton, Dartmouth, Brown, Amherst, Williams, Pomona, Grinnell and Pomona.

I guess that with 9 you got enough to do right ? I just wanna cry when I think about the dozen of essays I have to write during christmas holiday T_T
Anyway, nobody forced me so I guess it’s simply my fault

Yo get on that as soon as you can it will take you forrreeeevvver. Helped that Dartmouth’s supplement didn’t involve an essay though. I’ve actually already applied so my fate is in the hands of the Gods. Got my app in by the 29th November.

Hey guys sorry for the late replies, was at work. Anyway,

POmani - I guess nine is good. seeing that not all of your schools (on the list) are high reaches. You should just go ahead and add a safety i guess.
No Brown because so far from what I have read, Brown does not have 100 percent financial aid for internationals right? I require full ride, or near to it So yeah.

DesperateFrench - Haha ikr? youre not alone, we all feel the same Reading the posts on CC makes me feel so underqualified and useless I swear, haha. Oh my, 22? Are you serious? How are you writing SO many apps/essays? Must be some real tough work am sure.

Yea I swear, all of my buddies will be enjoying Christmas , while I sit at home and write essays. Or maybe Ill end up going with them and screw up my essays :S Ughhh

hello! I’m applying to Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, Oberlin, Case, OSU, and Princeton. And for interviews, it really depends on how quick the alumni association is, I thing. I already had mine.

Hey guys!! @POmani: my interviewer emailed me and said she needed to complete her interview by the end of December. I actually have mine in about an hour! I’m not sure if that deadline is just for my region or harvard in general…

Good luck everyone! Only like four more months of waiting, lol. =)

i submitted my app for duke last week and have already scheduled an interview time. but i submitted my app 3 weeks ago for harvard, and i still haven’t gotten a reply about an interview. what should i do? i know there’s an interviewer in my area because my friend was interviewed for ea.

First off, good luck Natalilyc! Hope you ace it !
And i dont know for the others, but atleast in my country, interviews are rare tbh, guess they dont have enough alumni here.

And yes, just 4 months of crazy, nail biting, stressful waiting. No big deal :p

I’m fine for interviews : there’s a numerous american community in Paris .
If it’s not too late, good luck Nataly.
I’ll need 100% financial aid too . It’s not even that I don’t want to ask such an effort for my parents, it’s that they can’t pay . Their income is less than 60k$ so…
Where are you guys coming from ? Internationals and US citizens/residents .
