@leaf123 I imagine it’s possible. They hinted towards the end of next week, but I couldn’t tell you for sure. For now, I’d enjoy the weekend as it’s highly unlikely anyone will be deciding anything over it.
Yale sent its first round of notices today.
Yes. Yale called my daughter at 5pm PST time. She got off the waitlist today at Yale.
Just got off the Yale waitlist yesterday!! So excited!! I have little hopes for Harvard but I guess I’ll have to wait and see! Good luck everybody!

Called the admissions office today. The gentleman said that “the committee believes the first round of decisions will be released at the latter half of this week”.
So, just to get this straight, are there going to be rejections in this round as well? And how many rounds typically are there?
Somebody on facebook said they were admitted today by phonecall, have they already started or is he messing around?

I called today, they said that they’re still in committee and at the earliest it would be towards the end of this week, but could possibly be early next week. They have no released anybody as of the moment
Man the anxiety is real. They probably won’t make calls over the weekend, right?
The admissions office is closed on weekends, so most likely not
My son is also on the wait list. He has accepted Tufts University and is pretty excited about it, but still has hope for Harvard. He didn’t apply to many Ivys. He wants to go to school in New England. We’ll see what happens!
