It’s highly unlikely that it’s over. Checking over threads from last year, they continued throughout the day and each region was different.
@leaf123 yep, the two people we’ve heard reports from - one on here and one on Twitter, are from Illinois and indiana, respectively. Those areas have the same AO. https://college.harvard.edu/sites/default/files/UPDATED%20Guidance%20Counselor%20Newsletter%20Fall%202013.pdf
I called Harvard they will “release notification” on Waitlist via email today and will start calling students who will be accepted (not sure if they can call all 60-70).
How many people are on the waitlist in the first place?
Harvard does not publish their waitlist. That’s what I know.
They don’t release that number
Harvard is one of the only schools that does not release wait list numbers, but many assume it’s around the same number as other schools ~1000.
In other news, I can’t log into my portal, as I was able to do about 20 mins ago. Good sign? I can’t say.
How many will find out today
I can still login
In other news, I can’t log into my portal. A good sign? I can’t say.
I can login as well
I can login as well
But i do remember that in previous years, the ability to log in didn’t say anything about the outcome
I wonder when they will send out the notification email…
Notification email supposed to be sent out at 5 Eastern
I guess by then, all of the calls will have gone out by then? I don’t think any ao’s would call after 5 pm est
Perhaps international?
I really do wonder when the rest of the calls will go out… it’s 3 pm EST…
any news from anyone else?
Haven’t received a call or update. Anxious as ever.
