well, I was rejected from MIT (didn’t apply to Caltech) so I guess that stuff evens itself out? I feel like Harvey Mudd focused a lot on essays to determine fit, though–mine were definitely very strong (lots of voice–much more than my MIT essays lmao).

Harvey Mudd acceptances are officially confirmed for 6:15 PM Pacific time tonight!

Got my acceptance packet in the mail today, with a letter awarding me the $10,000 Harvey Mudd Merit Award. I’m guessing the PSP finalists got that letter instead. Sadly $10,000 isn’t enough to make Mudd affordable :frowning:

Pey4343, congrats! And hey just wait for the FA letter maybe that will make it affordable.

I would see what happens when you get your complete letter. My daughter’s financial aid package from Mudd turned out to better than the rest, and although I had said we had to make it happen for her if it meant a second mortgage, it was much easier with her complete aid package. Good luck!! Could not have been a better decision for us. P’19

My daughter’s roommate her freshman year is a Computer Science major from China. Good luck!!

on the subject of financial aid, does anyone have a form that says “Authorization of Allowable Charges” in the Documents section of the Financial Aid portal? I still haven’t received my award, but I swear it wasn’t there before I received admission.

@scarletwitchx it was not there before but should show up now. If you still don’t see it call the FA office.
