**Official High School Class of 2015** College List

Wow a lot of Harvard hopefuls! I would never bother with Harvard, not my type of school. I live in New York City. So I still am deciding if I should apply to some city schools as safeties but I’m not sure yet

I want to apply everywhere ugh! But, (in no order)

SUNY Safeties:

Duke University
Stony Brook University (SUNY)
Fordham University
University of Massachusetts

My family has taken a series of hits financially the past few years, so I’m hoping to get admission to somewhere like Tufts or Duke that offer huge financial aid packages. If not, I’d be happy to go to my two in-state schools or one of the bigger out-of-state flagships. My GPA right now is a 95.5% (4.0) and my PSAT score was a 188, if that gives any kind of indication.

Goodness, this is a long ways away, but if I had to pick right now, this would probably be my list.

Penn
Brown
Northwestern
Notre Dame
Boston College
Northeastern
Michigan
Minnesota
Michigan State
UNLV (I have family in the area, they’re who I support for college sports as well. Plus, they’re cheap.)
Alaska-Anchorage (in-state)

I love the east coast and the midwest, can’t you tell?

Duke
Harvard
Princeton
MIT
UNC-CH
Yale
2-safeties

Eventually I will narrow everything down and see who wants to go where and what not in a big list.

University of Michigan Ann Arbor
Northwestern
Washington University
Loyola University Chicago
Boston University
Pomona College
Johns Hopkins
New York University

Anyone know Northwestern’s acceptance rate?

'Northwestern’s

I’ve considered Carnegie Mellon as well. I feel like I need more top universities in my selection. My definite applications are:

New York University
Boston College
The College of New Jersey
Rutgers University
Fordham University

The list I gave earlier was just a rough draft.

University of Chicago (dream school. Visited and loved it.)
Washington University in St. Louis
Carnegie Mellon University
Tufts University
Johns Hopkins (maybe, not a fan of the area)
Case Western (maybe, same reason as above)

I’d really like to be recruited at one of those D3s. But I’m also going to apply to some schools where I can’t participate in varsity athletics.

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor (in-state. I’ve seen the school. I liked it)
Cornell University
University of Wisconsin - Madison
Vanderbilt University
Boston University
UIUC

I still need to figure out some lower tier schools to apply to, and this will probably need to be narrowed down a little bit. But right now I have a 3.96 UW.

I first originally had 30 colleges. But then I narrowed it down to twelve. Hopefully keeping that way

Pomona college
Scripps
Claremont mckenna(maybe)
Bryn mawr
Chapman
Wesleyan
Brown

I know I need to add a couple more safeties…and I’m not interested in UCs but I ll probably apply to UCLA anyways, to appease my parents (lol)

UC Berkeley
U of Washington
Stanford
MIT
