[/list][ b]General Comments:** Just found out about Georgia Tech today! Couldn’t believe it! I was hyperventilating this whole week and this morning! I thought I would be rejected since admission became so competitive when they switched to the Common App. I also got selected for Scholarship Day at UNC. Just comes to show that admission processes are truly holistic. Advice to future applicants: show that you are a unique individual with genuine aspirations. Essays are really important! Good luck to everyone!

Varroyo-congratulations on these great admissions. I know what you mean about hyperventilating- I burst into tears when my DD got into Georgia Tech EA. If you are interested in Tech be sure to try and attend Destination Tech on April 6-7. It is hosted by the Hispanic Recruitment Team. Contact Kevin Gonzalez in the admissions office for an invite.

General Comments:
If I took high school seriously before Senior year, there is no doubt in my mind that I would’ve been HYP bound. I was missing the objective pieces. Nevertheless, I’m still extremely happy to be heading to CMC and have top graduate programs in my sights now that I’ve learned how to excel.

Whoa I almost forgot to get back on here and write.
