<p>It looks like everyone is starting a thread on their own living centers. As you can see, I was put in the HILC. And yeah, I want to know anything about the center.</p>
<p>And what does it mean? "Room Reservation: HILC 8241-1"</p>
<p>Ahhh I love HILC!! It was such a vibrant and international community I adored my time there 2 years ago... in fact, I still go back to check out events they have.</p>
<p>Basically, it's a place for people of different nationalities to meet. Majority are still from the states, but my year we had 40% internationals. The result is a smorgasbord of backgrounds. You could be from Ghana and find yourself rooming with a guy who has dual nationalities from the States and Denmark but has spent most of his life in Uganda/Nepal. </p>
<p>Your room means that you are in Unit 2, Suite 4, room 1 (which is a double). I was a Unit 2-er myself; that's the Unit with the whole wall of flags from around the world. </p>
<p>If Windi is still the hall director you will be in for a fun trip this year.</p>

<p>Just received news from Windi that she is leaving for the west coast this summer. The new RHD will have big shoes to fill.</p>

<p>I concur with the previous comments about HILC! HILC is a wonderful dorm to stay in. My favorite part about my stay there were Ice Cream Nights and the HILC Night (where you had foods from all of these different countries!). It was absolutely wonderful. </p>
