I wrote about Taiwan-China and cross-strait relations / business.. you?

i think my essay topic was about as cliche as you can get but...
i wrote about the middle east and just large of an effect they have on the globabl economy

I wrote about the conflicting China-Iran and China-US relations and how it has been motivated by economic/business incentives.

would applying to huntsman hurt my chances of getting into penn?

same question as naturallyjojo,

yes, definitely is my answer.

The applicant pool to huntsman is much more competitive than that at the college. You need calculus and language requirements and if you look at the stats, it seems that generally the standardized scores average are higher too

But besides all that, huntsman picks no more than 45 ppl per year.

Just for our info - this is what it seems~ 9 in total. bad number

i did a little browsing of the thread and added people that weren't on the list ^

oh...... French and Spanish are the two most popular languages...
really worried now

btw, thanks steeev88 for adding me :)

wow... 13 - _ - that's a massive number. sorry for the omissions! I got the list from the other thread..

Seems like east asian languages aren't popular at all :D

I'll be applying to Huntsman ED next year (thank God I don't have to compete with you guys.. haha).

How does this target language thing work? I'm fluent in Mandarin Chinese and pretty good in French (better spoken than written). I'm also very involved globally-- President and Regional Coordinator of Amnesty International, USG of MUN, a lot of MUN awards, director of ONE Campaign at my school, received the NAPF Peace grant, essay awards on global topics, etc.

However, I've done absolutely nothing business-related! I'm taking IB Economics next year, but I really have nothing else.. although organizing regional conferences might take some business skills.

Don't I need to be stellar at math to get in? I'm currently a junior, and I'm taking the AP Calc BC test at the end of this school year, but I'm really not sure about how well I'll do. I suppose I'm decent at math, but no match for all those prospective Econ majors.

wow thats absolutely crazy.. 13..

and naturallyjojo.. would that be a reference to the clothing brand? i just remember seeing a lot of naturally jojo stores in taiwan..

im not very qualified compared to you guys.. like everythings fine.. i just have a really poor unweighted gpa (high weighted though) and a low verbal score (620)..

hey dw,

"Never, never, never give up."

-Winston Churchill-

Keep this in mind.

no prob davelovesu.
13....that can't all be ED. can it?

they are all ED

there were a couple others that were RD (i didn't include them)

Drop dead.

Oh my god, 13.... I wonder how many ppl applied ED this year. I bet the number's outrageous.

So how're you all feeling? We have 4 days left.

hahah there are more huntsman applicants than SEAS applicants. I feel better about what school i applied to already!

Only 4 days. wow, I totally forgot about the date. Its 7:00 EST nest Wednesday, right? That's really close.
