Official IB Exam Discussion Page

I just got copies of the May 2005 exams if anyone needs to see them. :)

Speaking of BS I have studied overseas and in the US. My British teachers were all extremely obnoxious. They did not teach they were like wardens. Absolutely the most punitive experiences in a classroom were under the rule of British teachers! The US ibac approach was enjoyable. Anyone else with similar experiences with Brits? And the letters of recommendation that they sent were filled with poison . Its as if they had a contest who could point out the worst thing about a student was doing the best job. A friend of mine who is very sweet and a hard worker applied to Georgetown. Her biggest worry was the content of the recs from her teachers. She saw one of them and could hardly believe the letter was about her. One time she was late for class with an excused note from the note. In the letter it read that she never attended class on time. Overall my friends and I agree the Brits are a nightmare! I wonder if the adcoms notice the trend from overseas?

Hey guys.....i was wondering if i could get IB May 2005 Papers (the full list)....i really need to prepare. thanks a ton.

by far the best part about IB-- the friendships that were created. About 30 out of a class of 500 are in the full IB diploma, and besides a few "unsocial" kids, we are all such great friends, considering we are all in like every class together, we have formed such great bonds that I wouldn't have formed if i wasn't in the program...but getting 2 hours of sleep a night for weeks does suck a lot!

you know what....you're absolutely right. but...bout the 2 hours of sleep for weeks at a stretch...is quite entertaining and thrilling to a certain extent cause...well...that's what my life is gonna be like once i become a researcher. however....that's me, and you're views are absolutely honest.

Hi there!
