Yeah if anything Siemens is harder since its totally research report based. If your research report isn’t top notch then you’re out. On the other hand the vice versa is also applicable so idk.

@imareaver, that’s an excellent point–hadn’t even considered it. But very true, I believe almost half of Siemens semi’s and RFs are teams.

3 more days!

Sent from my EVO using CC

Less than two now!

I don’t think I’ll check until I get home. Did you guys have other applicants from your schools?
Anyway, at the most basic level, Intel would help for college admissions. Not that you all care, you probably got in to your first-choice early schools :P

I didn’t do you? I got deferred from Caltech and MIT lol

I was deferred to MIT as well (I pretty much expected it). If I am able to get semifinalist in Intel I think I will stand a chance at those prestigious schools, but otherwise I doubt it.

Ah sorry guys. I ended up not applying to MIT EA, but I did RD. Intel will certainly help though.

And yeah, I have three other applicants, one of whom was also a Siemens Semi.

I don’t have anybody else at my school haha.

Luckily I got accepted ED to Cornell, so STS is only for the bragging rights and money. lol

Congrats!!!

I checked my account this afternoon - I had two badges ISEF 2012 Finalist (I never contested) and STS 2013 Entrant, and now all have been taken away. Did this happen to anyone?

@despondant, yes the same thing happened to me.

Yeah same. Also will it just be a list tomorrow like Siemens?

Yup they are gone :frowning: . On the other hand…less than 24 hours.

@jahuatai I think there’s a list.

@bilnythesciguy Ok, thanks.

Since I got into Stanford EA I haven’t been as nervous about this as I was for Siemens. Good luck tomorrow everyone =)

Are you a Siemens Semifinalist? What subject your research project is in?

Yeah, I luckily made Siemens as a semi! I did research on vaccines =) How about you?
