Make that 4 for Georgetown, and I def. agree LA gal. Mid West Represent! (If you can call Michigan midwest)

Princeton has 65 cc ed'ers

I'm applying to Princeton (ED), Dartmouth, and Cornell.

Princeton has 65 cc ed'ers

Yes, 65.

Here's the latest roster:

AKashbansal is an honorary listee and does not count =)

I'd try to count the Brown ones, but new people keep showing up out of nowhere.

Hee, yeah. I was one of those Brown EDers who just showed up. (I was on these boards last year as I prepared for SATs and APs, but when those were done with, I decided to leave here for a while. In my view, CC is an awesome resource, but it is also a major procrastination tool tends to raise stress levels exponentially. Heh. But I came back, drawn by the fact that I am miserable and antsy, and as we all know, misery loves company. =))

But I don't think there are anywhere near 65 Brown EDers.

Yale (EA), UPenn (legacy), Brown, and insane reach for harvard

Okay... update... Princeton has 67

how does one become an honorary listee for princeton ed?

he decided to apply EA harvard at the last minute, so he was on the roster before he applied.

ahhh...that makes sense

is it just me or is this yr ridiculously hard?
i don't know. i think my class is just stupider overall/not impressive.

last yr early accepted:
5 cornell, 3 (of 4) penn, 4 columbia, 0 (of 1) harvard, 0 (of 1) princeton, 1 (of 2) MIT
total: 13 / 17

this yr accepted:
2 (of 2) cornell, 2 (of 4) columbia, 0 (of 4) penn, 1 (of 3) princeton, 0 (of 3) harvard, 0 (of 7) MIT, 0 (of 2) stanford (hey, MIT and stanford belong up there)
total: 5 / 25

these are rough stats.
i dunno. it's kind of depressing overall.

My class is definitely stupider than the one preceding it. Just an example: last year we had 1 Nat'l merit finalist, 6 commended, and 1 nat'l achievement. This year: one semifinalist, one commended. There were also a lot more kids applying to top tier schools last year, as opposed to this year, where it's just one or maybe two.

I think our class this year is better than last year's. We have more NM semi's and commended and more Presidential scholars, not to mention that the aspirations are higher, too.

so, how is everybody faring now?

Whoa, ridiculously old thread. I doubt there will be responses, but it'd be nice.

so..y'd u decide to pull up a thread from 2004?
