:] Good luck everyone.

Let's discuss when the time comes.

:] Good luck everyone.

Let's discuss when the time comes.

do we get into trouble for discussing it?
(just remembered the statement thing that i had to sign..)

how hard do you guys think it was/what sort of curve will there be?

I know I got 3 wrong already...so I probably won't get 800 :(

dont worry i probably failed =D
well i mean, i know that there isnt fail or pass
but i just feel like i failed that test..

number 5-9.. when you had to match all these words
with explanations, i freaked out because there were some words
that i've never heard of (they were not in PR nor in Barron's)
im not going to say those words just so that i don't get into trouble,
but.. yeah... i was so angry after the test
there were so many questions that i wasnt sure
i thought i would do fine because i was doing pretty well with
my practice tests this week.. oh well.. i guess i will have to retake it

Oh, yeah, we get 0s automatically if we discuss it. :-P

I'd be interested to see them attempt to identify the people discussing the test.

I think I did alright. I know I wasn't really as prepared as I should have been, but I think my semi-guesses were mostly correct.

ughh i am so frustrated right now..
ive seen some other people discussing the test before(on this website)
i guess i shouldnt, just to be on the safe side
but.. i wonder if those people actually got 0s

Oh man, I know I missed this one question on Biology that a 1st grader could've got right. Talk about killing one's self esteem. I won't mention the question in case I can get in trouble...

Anyone know how long we "should" wait? I'm pretty nervous about this test...not the "omg i might not have gotten an 800" nervous, the "omg i might not have gotten a 650" nervous.

Anyone else?

Alright, seeing as that the US History thread has already begun discussing answers, I'll take the first step on this thread.

I know I got one, very very easy one wrong...the DNA model, I thought the 5' was on one side and the 3' on the other, not criss-crossing.

How about others?

wait so it shouled have been
5--3
5--3

OR

5--3
3--5?

wait wait do we get into trouble for discussing even though the test is done in all different time zones?

ughh there were so many questions that i guessd,
but for some reason i dont remember what i put for those answers..

the correct model is:

5--3
3--5

don't worry about the collegeboard policing forums now that tests are over. look at previous threads, its done on this site all the time.

okayy good i think i put that..
what prep books did you use?
i only finished bio11 (im from Canada),
and i went over PR and Barron's.

I was VERY FRUSTRATED
when i saw all those questions with "photo....."
becuase i've never heard of some of them.
(they were not mentioned in the prep books that i used)
it actually bugged me when i was doing other questions

i quickly went over PR, their tests were ridiculously tough in my opinion compared to the real one. For the bulk of my studying i used sparknotes (which was, incredibly enough, over 100 pages of material I printed out), and sparkcharts.

I remember putting phototropism, photoperiodism, and photorespiration for answers on the test.

hmm i think i did exactely the same thing!
i knew phototropism and photosynthesis
but i had no idea what the other three meant..

but the last choice.. phototaxis? was it?
something like that.. i think that was one of the answers
although i didn't put that one.... ughh
i used photoperiodism twice too.. probably wrong haha

PR's first test was not that hard but the second one that
i attempted to do this morning (in the car =<) was VERY hard

but im dissapointed because the practice tests i took from Barron's and PR
this week were really good.. but for some reason.. today's test was just...

I put photoperiodism for the plants flowering at different times and the birds mating during the season with longer days. Photosynthesis for the first one. Phototropism for the plant growing towards the light. I also think I put phototaxis for one of them which is where organisms move in response to light, not sure what the question was exactly.

any thoughts on the curve?

I didn't know what phototaxis was...so I might have put phototropism instead

phototropism is growing against the light which means the plant is growing more on the dark side than on the lighted side. Phototaxis is the first, photperiodism and photorespiration. Phototaxis is "the movement of an organism or a cell toward or away from a source of light." (answers.com)

For all the studying I did for this test, I can't believe I said birds have teeth...

what are u talking about
