Official January 2013 International Math Discussion

How did you all do in the Math section? I personally thought it was pretty easy, I'm just unsure of three question which are:

9 last section: How many anglesof a quadrilateral bla bla bla... I put it 3

20: (-3,0) right?

7 grid-in section: iI can't remember the details but it had something to do with remainders. is it 1 or 3, I put it 3 then changed it to 1.

got 5,0 in #20

What did you get in the last question #16 ( the parabola )

y with weird root thing was 2?

Yes y was 2

Sent from my GT-I5510 using CC

@Bugyloo Anyone to confirm this?

Sent from my GT-I5510 using CC

I confirm 5,0 in #20.

Please confirm what was the x-intercept in the parabola?

absolute uncertainty one was 4

The one for semi-radical bi-radical one… Got 4… Many people put 8 since they forgot to input in both the semi and the bi thing

What was number 8 in the 18 Section ? is C correct ?

and in Grid-ins i remember there was 15 … 800 … 1520 … 625 … 2 i dont remember the number of questions

SATN00B what is the question that has an answer of 625?

I never had a 625 for sure.

I didnt get 625 either…

i don’t remember which question it was.

@bugyloo are you sure the answer for the bi and tri question was 4? Wasn’t it sqrt 8 (2sqrt2)?

How do u solve the quesiton where it had set s: (1,2,3,4,5), set t:(2,4,6,8,10) and it was finding the probability of picking a number from s and t and those numbers match?

What did you guys get for that question with the isoc triangles…? I got 110…

Yeah Afaloo im sure as I said many people got 8 since they forgot to solve in both… they said solve first in semi then in bi… so you will get 4 in the end… (the bi was sqr 2X)
