First time taking the SAT hopefully I can pull off a good enough score to get into Pnn State next year. It might be a low goal around here but 1700+ will make me happy

do you guys know if we’re allowed to use mechanical pencils for the essay? I write much neater and clearer with mechanical pencils.

Im not sure; Id use just a bunch of sharp no. 1 pencils to be safe.

ya because the mechanical pencils are usually #2 so i believe they are alllowed

@skieurope Just curious, what is it that people try to get on Google Docs or such that relates to the SAT?
@albert69 They are comparing answers trying to ascertain if theirs were correct, which is fine. However, when the question and answers get quoted verbatim, that becomes a copyright violation.
@Tennistiger mechanical pencils are NOT allowed on either the MC or the essay portion of the test. Must be a regular number 2 pencil
What are you guys getting on the BB practice tests?
@Tennistiger I feel that you can get away with mechanical pencils on the essay, its not being graded by a computer.
So on the essay I’ve heard people saying that you should make up fake examples. Can these be absolutely fabricated or do they need to be somewhat true, like based on a real event/book but kind of bending the truth?
