So was the guy intimidating or did they think he didn’t understand language?
are you sure the rings question was red? Because it asked what happens if you take red out. Or at least that’s how I perceived it. (I got either blue/purple) Can’t remember.
@singbirdsing Ive never taken the SAT before so I don’t know. My proctor kept coughing during our test. It almost drove me crazy!
@singeorgina John, well regarded for his work, confounded scientists when he proposed that…
I’ve taken it once, but that was in 7th grade. I just thought it was weird. Ya my proctor wrote down the wrong times when we changed from 25 min to 20 min. @Mango920452
Hypothetical musings or extended analogies
I remember guessing concession on a critical reading passage question. Does anyone remember the question or the right answer?
@Tennistiger @jamanda the glacier and scientist question were the same. So there were only 4 no errors
ah well, what can you do. Guess we’ll have to see February 12th. I’m definitely taking the March SAT now. Not confident anymore.
Do you guys think the math curve will let you get an 800 with 1 question wrong? I am praying because I didn’t even see that the parallelogram question said the area was 30…
@Tennistiger they thought he couldn’t understand their language
reluctant concession vs unqualified assertion (music/authenticity). I put concession because he was admitting that true authenticity can’t actually be reached.
Was concession, hypothetical musing, and extended analogy the same question?
@medicaldreamer99 what was the passage that had reluctant concession as one of the answer choices? I chose that too but I dont remember what the passage was
yes but he was not reluctant about it, so i put unqualified assertion
@tennistiger Nope hypothetical musing and extended anology were though.
@Tennistiger What did you choose for that one? I put extended analogy
@singbirdsing i got blue for that… i thought question was when you get out of red… but many people say it is red but when I get rid off the red, and counted , I didn’t get 16th as blue color… what did you get?
@Tennistiger they were different questions, the hypothetical musing and extended analogy was about the basque city (extended analogy was probably right), concession was about folk music and it was wrong
@singbirdsing I’m really not sure how much the proctors actually know about the SAT. They are just teachers looking for a little extra cash.
