@Nerdboy98 thanks!
guys did anyone order Q & S service??? it’s only available for january US test takers right?
@acethesat111 I did, but not sure how much it will help. The ACT Q&A was absolutely atrocious…
@herpinburpin do you remember the other choices for the basque passage for the extended comparison passage?
@medicaldreamer99 yeah that’s what I was looking for! Thanks!
@Tennistiger no, not as of right now. The two I know I was deciding between were hypothetical musings and extending comparisons. Sorry!!!
for the stamp passage, did you guys put fragile as what it didn’t talk about?
@yesyesyes1 Yup
@singbirdsing @jamanda I had the Louisa May Alcott and I’m pretty sure that was experimental section
Hey guys for the food passage did anyone else say that people prefer locally grown food?
Other options: People prefer organic food, people consider the environment in what they buy
@Anonymoose3 The answer is that people are concerned about the environment when they buy food
was it characterize a place for the basque question? i put describe a way of life because it also focused on the narrator himself and not just the place
Did anyone get the experimental flightless birds CR?
@Anonymoose3 I had what @synzie256 said
Like if you thought the CR section was harder than usual! I wrote the October 2014 SAT and I found it quite easy, but today’s CR sections were a bit harder than October 2014’s SAT.
some unanswered questions of mine:
- gung hu spirit and yankee so-called ingenuity
- vocab question about drilling holes in greenland and they become windows
- in passage 1 but NOT in passage 2
- the question that some people put "akin to an effective stage performer" as the answer
- battle between past and present or reality and idealistic
- mars being "inviting"
- the mayan writing question
- did not yet vs. had not yet
Does anyone think that overall the sat was harder this time around?
@jamanda Haha, same for those.
For the gung ho spirit, I put that they were inadequate explanations. Anyone else?
it was did not yet because “had not yet” should have been “had not yet proven”
So about that color links question on math, does anyone remember the exact sequence of colors? I think it said something about the 96th color, really not sure why (maybe decoy details), that the 16th ring was blue, and asked what the 51st one. It also said that a “few” were removed.
