@Terraform i concur. it should be best planet because it did explicitly mention that mars was the best choice out of all the planets in the solar system within the line numbers given by the question, and further development is mentioned later on.
can some one tell me what exactly the chain question said?
@navywinter the truth about the SAT is that no one will know the correct answer till the results come out

@APScholar18 It said something like “Given a sequence of colors RBGGYP, if you remove the first few links of the chain such that 16 is B, what is the new 51st link?”
Also it mentioned something about the 96th link but it doesn’t seem to be important for some reason.
@APScholar18 there’s a chain with pattern RBGGYP, and it’s repeated until there are 96 links. the first couple links are removed such that a blue link is the 16th term. it asks you to find what color the 51st link of the new chain is.

and are we sure that grid in was 4,000 thats what I put but I’m scared it was like 3999 or 4001 or something… the SAT is known to pull stuff like that…

for another cr question - was it absurdity of task or exaggeration of scope? i felt like absurdity was too extreme so i chose the latter, but it might not be right…i think it was the analogy about heating all of north america with a single heater.
@APScholar18 Same here, I initially worried that it was a 3999, but it said “inclusive” so I just trusted them and hoped for the best. I’ve noticed that they tend to do that 999 vs 1000 garbage on MC more, because I guess putting it on a grid-in would ruin too many people’s days.

For that grid in question i put 3999 because 0 would need to be included for there to be 5000 even integers as 0 counts as even

@navywinter Yeah it was the heater question. I put absurdity of task because he was ridiculing the idea that you could terraform a whole planet with a rocket caravan.
Did you guys get hypothetical musings for one of the devices used in the rural passage? Was the battle between his idealized thinking and practical reality(not sure how it was phrased)?
