Is it a given that I had a writing experimental if I had two 35-minute writing sections (I'm hoping the experimental was the math section with the bar graph and the x^2 = x +6 problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case)?

Sorry, looks like u had writing experimental like me.

What was the question for the 700 one?

ivyleague, it's been gone over numerous times, the compensation one.

what did you guys get for the fashion maven one about the pencils, i put that she superficially cared about mechanical pencils

I said that she had flair & authority for the topic (E).

was that even one of the choices?? I thought the only choice that talks about HER was that she likes clothes.

the "fashion maven" where it asked what does that mean in context. i think i put exaageration of something

yes, that's what I put thrills4ever

sweeeeeeet

I put flair and authority.

yep... I put exaggeration cuz it was the only one that made sense and also cuz of the word "hyperbole" that followed

YEA!!!!!! tlqkf, thats right i remember the hyperbole

Seth, we're in the minority but I still think it's flair. She was a leader to her class in showing other students the "what's-in" of lead pencils. Her words demonstrated authority and flair. She was not exaggerating, but almost trying to "advertise" for the pencils with her enthusiasm (flair).

yes, but the hyperbole made me lean to exaggeration because the answers to the questions are what's already included in the text that it asks you to look up.

I think it's flair. She's certainly being "imperative" or something..

I did not understand that sorry. Can u explain again, GoSixers?

well, i remember somewhere in the context of the text, it described her attitude as a hyperbole, which made me choose exaggeration, since that's what it means.

Are you sure it said hyperbole? I don't remember seeing it.

Let's do some more writing questions. Were there any tough ones besides the sewage water and the climbers?
