I guess because I didn't read a passage on illusion.

fermi's paradox, porcupine women, tv/plato, georgia..reporter, and blackholes....all counted.

any other big passage wasn't real.

anyone know what the math experimental section was?

it had the triangle question at the end.

a triangle placed in a coordinate plane?

Do you guys think writing about the development of the successful US Constitution would suffice for the essay?

(I'm not a strong writer)

kinda. It said like "AB" is perpendicular to "AC", and E is the midpoint of "AC". Then it gave some values and asked you to find the area of ABE

so that question didn't count? i can't remember what i put

dsctt, I think the most important aspects of the SAT essay are its organization and length. Have a conspicuous introduction, body/ies, and conclusion, and a LONGASS essay and you'll get a 10 at the minimum -- it happened to me! Or, you can do it the hard way (write well). lol

I talked about scientific discoveries in the twentieth century, and how they were made through focused determination. I supported it with the Mnhattan Project and Watson and Crick, and I had a conclusion. But my essay was only 3 linews onto the second page, but I write small. Is that ok?

I talked about Michelangelo and David and the atomic race in WWII. I took up every line.

I hope i get a 10 at least. Its stupid if they judge based on how much you write. I write small, like 20 words per line, so my essayer is shorter, but denser.

Yeah i had a little more than a page but i write big. lol

Yeah. My handwriting is relatively small, and I am a slow writer, so I only got half-way into the second page before the timer ran out. I did get to write a conclusion, though, so I'm hoping to get at least a 10.

My essay in June was crap and i still got a 9. lol.

does anyone know the exact question of the mode and median question qhere it asked like mode is 3, median is 6, and had the choices of I, II, or III?

What did you put for the answer?

all i remember thinking was that all the numbers had to be greater than 6, and they all were, so i put (E) which i think were I, II, III. I prolly did the question wrong, cuz I dont remebmer reading anything about avreages and stuff. And i think i messed up my test cuz all i remembered was

Section 1-Essay
Section 2-Math with SPR
Section 3-Critical reading
Section 4-Critical reading

but this doesnt make sense cuz i had a black and white cover but none of the stuff put out by the collegeboard said my test went in this order...

question bout the mean, median, and mode problem-
i think it said the most occurring was 3 (mode), the middle number was 6 (median). The extrema were 2 and 20.
so far we have
2,3,3,6,20,x,y
6 has to be the middle number so u can only have one number larger than 6 cus their are only two different numbers lower
2,3,3,6,19,20,y
y can't be 19 because than 3 wouldnt be the mode
2,3,3,3,6,19,20
i think that is the largest way to make 6 the middle number and have 3 be the mode...it gives u an average of 8...only answer is 7 (by making the 19==>12)
this is all based on the fact that the median is the middle number, not the middle digit of the sequence (a fact im not 100% sure on)

just my 2 cents

criticism appreciated

You have 3 as the median ; it's supposed to be 6. There can only be 2 3's. Do you know if the other numbers had to be integers or not? (the other numbers between 6 and 20) integers??

that was what i wasnt sure about....if a median is the middle number or the middle of the list...the sat screws me over cus im in dif eq as a junior, but i forgot all this stuff from 6th and 7th grade
