you nailed it thrills.

I think I did poorly on the vocabulary :(.

What were the other choices for the question with acrid in it? And does anyone remember the sentence?

What scores do you think 6 wrong in C.R. and 1 Wrong and 8 on essay in Writing will be?

what's the question for "trenchant"? all others agree with thrills4ever.

darkrulerII: 710 for CR and 760 for writing.

The question with trenchant had something to do with rappers.

Does anybody remember the questions that had "acrid" and "progenitor" as answers?

Trenchant was the hip-hop lyrics commenting on society.

i still can't remember that...:P

Oh and acrid was talking about some food that had a bitter taste.

Progenitor was the sentence about a jazz musician who sparked some movement in later years or something.

Do you remember any other answer choices for either of those (acrid and progenitor)?

progenitor was for the jazz musician for paved the road for new jazz musicians? something along those lines and acrid was the one about the plate with the burning taste.

That's harsh for one wrong.

Im hoping for that if I ge an 8 on my essay, lol.

Why couldn't the jazz one have been connaiseur?

"That's harsh for one wrong."

No, it's not. Look at blue book curve ranges for 1 wrong and 8 essay.

I don't have the blue book sorry. I'm guessing that 3 wrong and 8 essay is around a 720?

According to bluebook, 3 wrong and 8 essay-->670-800
So it should be around 730.

The thing about the author I believe was no error. Some of it might have sounded weird but I think it was grammatically correct. Anyone have the full sentence? It was something about a biographer who made himself immortal right?

I believe it was this:

In English literature James Boswell was one of those rare authors who, by achieving immortality of another author, achieved immortality for himself.

I know the first "In" was underlined, and "immortality of" was underlined. "Immortality for" was not underlined. This one has been giving me the most grief because I wasn't sure between No Error and "immortality of." I thought "immortality of" could be wrong because of parallel structure; later on it says "immortality for", which is right because it's not underlined, so I thought it should be "immortality for" another author.

Meh, that was a confusing one.
