i just finished taking SAT2 math
lets check answers!!

was it hard?? good luck on your scores... i hope you did well

did you prep alot? what books did you use?

Um, the test is tomorrow?

wait....timeless...are you an intl student?

Will the test be the same? I doubt it though.

That would be great if it were (not for me...but for everyone taking Math 2)

chances are it's not...im sure they already thought of that

Haha.........thats too bad.

it doesnt hurt to check though...worse comes to worse....you're just better prepared for tomorrow's test

yea i am an international student... i guess you guys are taking it later....
but arent the tests the same? because PSAT questions were same when we took it on October...so i guess it goes same with subject tests?? no???

yes they are. i think that the problems are the same just there are 2 versions with different order.

ahh.. i'm scared for tomorrow =(

I took it today.. I won't give detailed becuase i dont think i'm allowed..?

I thought it'd be really really hard but I found it quite easy. I prepped with Barrons, Meylani, Kaplan and Princeton Review.

In the practice tests for kaplan, i got 800 and in PR, about 730. In Barrons and Meylani, about 550-650.

I didnt really know what to expect. I omitted 4 questions and I took a chance with 2 questions (so I probably got them wrong).

The reasons why I missed the 4 are because the questions seemed ambiguous (for me) and I wasn't sure what they were asking.

Barrons and meylani's totally freaked me out for this test. I will never be studying off barron's for sat 2s ever again. I memorised and studied my ass off so many advanced concepts which never came up.

Wait, NoFX, so Barron's REALLY overprepares you for this?

I've been using Barron's and BARRON'S ONLY and it's been freaking me out because I keep getting 28s and 29s, which is like around 660 - 670. Argh. I'm so scared, but at the same time, I keep hearing how Barron's is insane because it teaches you too many concepts that never appear on the test...

If I get a 700+, I'll be satisfied...

Yes. Definetly. Really overprepared.

I actually couldn't finish barron's practice tests in time. I could only get up to q40 or 41. And I ended up with low 600s.

This time, I completed the test with like 5min to spare. Barrons really really truly overprepares you. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I had to cancel and conclude studying for my sat french test because I thought I needded to study a lot more for maths (due to the inaccurate results of barrons).
But then again, would I have found it easy if I didnt prep with barrons?

so are we ever allowed to discuss?

i thought it was fair, but i was pressed for time so i ended up omitting three

Alright I omitted four and am pretty sure I got two wrong...do you think I could break 770 with four omits and four wrong?

you can talk about them here. it's not like collegeboard's gonna come and spy on the boards here. what difference does it make to them? it would just be a better way for them to know what probs kids had trouble with so they can use that type again. "technically", you can't talk about them at all. haha, but who does that...lol

Alright guys; I think the Pacific kids have started? Now we can discuss.
