Official January SAT I Results

Significant decrease in every section. I am really devestated. This was the last chance I had to raise the scores. I cannot believe that it’s even possible to decrease 80 points in one section!

my scores are delayed! ughh.

is it possible for CB to ever make a mistake??? I am pretty sure I did better than a 690 W and 730 CR.

Jan test certainly screwed some of us up. I spent the morning crying (:
Take heart people, most of the college apps are in. Jan is a wound we can carry.

OK, I’m sober now. I just realised I really have to sit for the May exam so I wish I was drunk again.

Did anyone screw up big time on the CR in Jan? I was so confident I had at least 660. Well, I guess I was wrong.

I was expecting (based on my last score) anywhere from 770-800 on the CR and got a 690!!! ***?!
I had no idea I did that badly!
My schools don’t superscore either, so i’m totally screwed.

^yeah. I was pretty confident I’d get a 700-750. I got a 690

Son’s score: 800/800/800 (2400)

tebow15, don’t make any mistake like my son did. If you get 800CR and 800M (1600) on or before October date, you will be the candidate for the Presidential Scholar. Writing score does not matter. I know you can do it.

CR, the last section did us in. I usually got around 750-760 in my old scores, so I am surprised too. Kept logging into CB to see if my scores would change (:

690
700
670 with 9 essay

lame

is anyone else’s score report not available till like the 26th? I can’t see my essay score or any details on how many I got wrong.

Is this unusual because I see some people posting essay scores and stuff.

just checked!!! 2400 :)

first time and last time !!!

CR: 730
M: 800
WR: 670 (8 essay)

2200 total. Its interesting that between my PSAT scores (216, 220) and this SAT i have been almost entirely consistent despite moderate test prep. Im very happy with 1530/1600, but will 670W hurt me if im applying to top notch colleges as an engineering major?

Three 12 essays in a row. I rule.

@stoneimmaculate: Instead of clicking on “My SAT Scores” in your organizer, just click “View My Scores” on My Organizer to see Multiple Choice results for your writing and your essay.

abysmal [imo anyways. my friend got the same cumulative score as me, but was happy. shes taken it once before in the fall].

650 CR
670 M
660 W
7 essay…!!! WHAT?!? im dont mean to brag AT ALL, but im just really frustrated that i get good grades on ap lit and ap us essays but i get a 7/12 on the SATs??

im a junior and this is my first time. does anyone see potential for my score to go up in the spring?? i aim for a 215-220. i wish to apply to upenn and my scores JUST make the 50th percentile there [for this yr anyways though i suspect theyll go up]. =\ and im also considering hopkins. im just really discouraged right now b/c i was expecting a 700+ in at LEAST one section.

I got:

630 CR
620 Math

570 Writing

1820 Total

I’m a little disappointed with my scores for my first time taking it. Has anyone who scored around here their first test raised their score to 2000+? Is that a realistic goal?

I raised my scores 230 points with little to no prep, so I wouldn’t worry about it, it’s definitely possible.

Any chance they screwed up the scores?

PSAT:
CR/M/W: 71/73/72

ACT:
R/M/E: 33/32/35

SAT:
CR/M/W: 750/680/680

I was convinced I’d screwed up CR but that I’d get 750+ for Writing and Math.

okay, i’m convinced everyone who posts on here is geniuses.
January was my first time, and while I was expecting better, I was mildly content and not worried until I looked on here.

Math: 610
CR: 600
Writing: 720 (essay was 12)

how worried should I be?
