So 2230. I’m really, really happy with these scores, because I KNOW I can do better on math (I got an 80 on the PSAT), so I can just retake the SATs one more time and focus solely on math. All in all, a really good day.

Well last time a took it with mono :P- (1950 no prep)
CR: 760
M:590
W:600

This time around (2120 no prep except PSAT)
CR:730
M:620
W:770
(Essay 11)

I’m not sure why I’m so much lower in math. I have had a’s in my classes (algebra through diffcal.) Does anyone have any suggestions besides working problems?) I got a 70 on the PSAT so I thought it might be a little higher.

Also would a 2120 count as a comparable score to a 216 on the PSAT (I know it’s a tad low for National Merit, but I’m from AL :P)

Overall I’m really happy about the huge jump.

Im not too happy with my results, although I can improve on my next ones in june. I cant believe that I got a 630 on W as opposed to 720 on CR. I usually do better on W, and a 2070 overall is…ehh.

im a little more content with my M+CR total of 1440/1600, although i wanted 1500+.

I was OK with this score until I found out I got an 8 on the essay… Anyone know how much colleges care about the essay? My proctor accidentally only gave us 15 minutes for it, and so we had to take a couple of minutes to convince her that we had 10 more minutes (leaving us only 6 minutes left). It was terrible; I had to erase my conclusion that I had hastily started when she said “5 minutes left.”

wow. I know I’m HORRIBLE when testing in reading comprehension, but I definitely did not expect a 620! Of course, I didn’t expect to get over a 2000 my first time (especially since i scored poorly on the PSATs [yet with no prep])
ugh. Thanks GOODness I did well on math, or else I would’ve DIED -__-v

So, 2130 total. Way lower than I was expecting–first time junior, but any practice I did, I got 780-800 on both Reading and Writing. So I’m taking it again, but I’m supposed to in March, which only gives me two weeks…

Definitely retaking. I know I can do better as I’ve gotten 800s in the writing section on practice tests. This was my first real SAT, by the way.
