OFFICIAL January Sat I Score Predictions

im god awful at CR and i was lucky enough to have 4 CR SECTIONS! GASP i nearly died and couldnt keep my concentration.

i made a dumb mistake in math so i already know i got 1 wrong.....i was aiming for an 800 like on my PSATs so thats already down the drain

my essay was mediocre

i left a total of like 6 blank on the CR, absolutely sucked on the vocab, and couldnt get through one of the passages so basically guessed on all of them

i had 6 midterms this week so my brain was fried by the time i took the SATs

math ~ 760 (made a promise to myself to not make any dumb mistakes and I broke it twice on saturday)
verbal ~ please 710+ (aced the SC did well on CR)
writing ~ +700 (still mad about my 740 from 3 wrong + 11)

math~800 (hopefully, I solved all the questions three times, no stupid mistakes)
cr~700-750 (1 SC mistake (an easy one, "sigh")) (my weakest subject since I am international and learned English only 3 years ago)
writing~700-750 (my essay topic was very (VERY) easy) (I guessed 4-5 questions)
Aiming for 2250 (I won't retake it if I get 2200+, though)

YESSSS!!!!! The math question I couldnt solve and guessed on was on the equating section.

Whats the SPR question?

Student produced response aka math grid-in.

Does that mean that, if you took the pink cover version, you had no experimental section on your SAT?

God darn it. The easy writing section was experimental.

There's always an experimental section.

Yes! The first WS on my test was equating (I did worse on this one methinks)

Which math section for the pink one had SPRs? If it was the 6.5 one I will be happy... Thats the only grid-in I got wrong I believe. I could use some experimental help on my polygon, parallel angle (n+p+K), and symbols questions however... That would boost my Math :-D

i had the black and white form but 6.5 was one of the SPRs.

@gxing,
It looks as if there was no equating parts in the pink cover version.
I would like to learn why it was so.

Well i really have no idea about my results, i'm and intl this is the first time i take them so i don't know anything about scores and curves.
I left 6 in blank in math -lack of time-
3 in CW - it was a stupid mistake, i thought that the section was over but so i skipped the three last questions-
5 in Writing -again, lack of time!-
and well the essay i have no idea, when i did them online i always had a 5/6 so i guess i went ok...but who knows.

I know that i got about 2-3 wrongs in mathe same with CR and no idea in writing. So how much do you think that i should have?

2-3 wrongs in math and 6 blank-->~650
3 wrongs in CR and 3 blank-->~730
5 blank in writing and a 5 (10) essay-->~740
Considering that you only had 3 wrongs in CR and none in writing...
(These are just estimates, deviation can be up to 40 points.)

@ von

Those are a bit generous...

Math 640
CR- 720
Writing- 700

@aseemo
writing curve is very changeable. There are people (basically with the same essay grade and mc wrong) who get 740 and 800.
Edit: I meant 3 wrong and 11 essay grade-->may be 740 or 800 (not 5 mc wrong and 10 essay grade)

What's a good estimate for 4 wrong on math (-2 maybe), 2 wrong on CR (-4 maybe), and 3 wrong on W (8 essay)?

According to the CB practice test, Math is around 650, CR is around 720, Writing is 710 (assuming a 10 essay)
