Cr: 790
Math: 720…
Writing: 800 w 11e 77mc
2310 single with a now 2360 super score
Overall pretty happy a little disappointed w math but oh well

CR: 800
Math: 760 ( one wrong I guess)
WR: 800 w/ 78MC +12 essay
Pretty happy with the 2360

This is my second seat. First one was cr 770+ Math 710 + WR 600(no idea how I did this)

Good luck guys!

@jencee Congrats!!! You made it!!! I got a 23xx as well :)

800 in CR, 770 in Math, 780 in Writing with 10 essay.

Slightly bummed because I thought I had a shot at a perfect score (I knew I missed a writing one and was hoping for 11/12 on essay) But the unexpected missed math question and 10 on essay shot those dreams :’(

In all seriousness though, really happy with this score, especially for my first time doing the SAT. Done with this test!

@ckoepp127 or anyone that got 780 writing with a 10 essay, what was your mc score? I’m just a bit confused since I got 790 with a 10 essay. Congrats on your score though!

2220! CR 740 M 770 W 710

Even though my verbal scores weren’t that good, I KNOW I can improve in March, so I’m happy. It wasn’t my first sitting; I took one in October as a sort of diagnostic tool, and I really feel like it helped, even though my scores weren’t good (710 640 640). I knew what I have to improve on, and used the question and answer service to identify mistakes.

W00t I am sure I will get higher than a 2250 in March, and then I’m done.

CR 790
math 740
writing 800 with 10 essay(generous curve)
so 2330
I did better than I expected. but math tho, would a good math 2 subject test score make things right?

Either you are lying about your math score or there is a really strange curve. Two people on this page got a 770 in math.

edit: Or they are lying!

@calistudent07

It’s possible I missed two writing questions. What scaled score did you get for writing multiple choice, calistudent? I got a 77.

Cr: 590 (sigh, but my first try was 650)
W: 750, essay 10, mc 74 (higher than my first try)
M: 800 (higher than my first try)
Single setting: 2140
Superscore: 2200!
Will the 590 look bad when applying to colleges or will it be ignored? Is it worth taking the sat a 3rd time?

@Dylanhawlit. No. See my above post. 10 on essay and perfect score on multiple choice always get you an 800. I didn’t get a perfect score on multiple choice so his score is irrelevant.

@ckoepp127, my mc writing was 77. you?

Uhhh what. Yeah I just edited my last post. I got a 77 too.

that is strange…this is making me nervous again…what if they just messed up my scores? they got my hopes up

Lol.

800 CR
800 math
790 writing (80, 9): I knew the essay would screw me over. My handwriting… so bad.

Overall satisfied with my score, though it would have been nice to get that extra 10.

@calistudent07. Well I wouldn’t be too worried. It’s a 10 point difference, not really gonna matter in the long run. I would at least wait until the 18th to see what’s up.

Scores are online but I can’t bring myself to sign in. I reallly want a 2300; I’m so nervous!

No I’m not. I don’t really think engineering schools look to the SAT I for evidence of math proficiency, though. I could be wrong about that, but I think the 800s on subject tests are far more important.

Winged it and got

760 CR
740 math
730 writing with an 8 essay (ugh) and 77 mc.
Every time since 6th grade I’ve taken it I’ve gotten an 800 on math…confused heavily at this score

If my essay was an 11 I would’ve gotten an 800 ugh

Not CC standard, but 2110. Cr 660 M 740 w: 710 w/ 10 e and 69 mc.
I’m a sophomore and black, so would this be sufficient for lower tier ivies? And would I have a chance at hyp?
