Let's start discussing the SAT Subject Test US History questions whenever we can.

can we talk about questions yet?

My god, that was a horrible test.
That's all I have to say for now.

It was much harder than I expected...I can't even remember any of the questions.

i made extremely horrible mistakes...

For the one about National Debt, I marked Hamilton but changed my answer to Hoover as I was double-checking because I thought that Hamilton would not use the word "union" to describe the states.

The one about the women's movement of 1963 was tricky.

Does anyone know what the curve is?

I put Hamilton- is that correct?

I forgot that the 14th amendment included due process...ugh. Which one was the women's movement one? The one near the end of the test?

I think Hamilton would have used the word "union" ... so I put him down because Jefferson would have opposed the word "union".

I didn't think it was any of the 20th century ones ... so I put Hamilton

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was hard! A lot harder than expected, for me. The one question about the rebelions, I guessed on, not a guestimate, but like an eeny meeny miny mo guess. I probably should just left it blank....

the 14th amendment was due process and the women's movement was the ratification of the ERA; it was NEVER ratified!

Which number was that- the one near the end of the test?

I think I got the 14th amendment one right then, but the women one wromg ( I can't remember- its all a blur now) :)

The women's one was near the end.

The ratification of the equal rights amendment is not the correct choice because wasn't it asking about progress in the "Progressive Era"?

I put NAACP

Does anyone know how many wrong one can get to obtain a 750+?

wrong :-)

the one about the ratification of ERA was an answer choice for the women's movement in 1963. I also put NAACP for the Progressive Era thing.

What about the Ohio one?

I put many Confederates reaction to Carpetbaggers

that's correct, asianpride.

Shiiiiit I just remembered I put affirmative action for the womens one (sorry for the mixup)

I knew the ERA wasnt passed too.

actually i thought the test was pretty easy compared to the practice tests that i took....i also put carpetbaggers and the NAACP
